the "your phone" number that gets SMS confirmation is different from the phone that has mobile authentication, so two phones

People still think that activating mobile authentication will do anything when the person can bypass it through cache

turning off (or changing at all) steam guard settings triggers an email confirmation

Then they don't need to change/turn off Steam Guard settings when they can see some private information on your account already?

Not saying they already have, but some information of users is out in the open. Think of Steam Guard in this case as a brick wall: hard to penetrate, but you can walk around it.

you should always consider an email account linked to a public profile to be publically visable even if its set to not be, so the email being "leaked" is no big deal.

the last 4 of your credit card is pretty useless except to confirm which card we are referring to. I wouldn't be afraid to post the last 4 of my CCN here, it wouldn't put my monies at risk.

other than that, I don't see what else there is to worry about. some stranger might know your wallet balance I guess

It's all good. The hackers still need somewhere to dump all their free copies of Yury. So we're quite safe.
