Another continuation thread of this which budded off of this from this thread. Again, feel free to add to the list.

  • VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action 14.99 -33%->10.04 Now I’ve only played the prototype and the demo of this. The closest I can describe it as is a VN where you affect the course of the conversation by mixing drinks. Mixing drinks is one part puzzle one part memorization and honestly two parts guesswork as to if the character will like that if their order is vague. That being said the ‘demos’ were pretty cool so I’ve been keeping an eye on this.
  • Cave Story+ 14.99 -33%->10.04 I want to say get this but this originally was a freeware game (which is still accessible through the dev’s site) that’s had all kinds of versions that add AND remove extra content. This is one of the versions with the most content although I think the WiiWare version has a cheaper baseprice.
  • Chroma Squad 14.99 -30%->10.49 A tactical-rpg love-letter to Super Sentai shows, the framework is simple: you are a bunch of stunt actors who decide to make their own sentai series show. You juggle the business side of the biz while simultaneously fighting mooks. You have to fight with flair though for ratings. Its a lot of fun.
  • War for the Overworld 29.99 -65%->10.49 If you liked Dungeon Keeper 2 or enjoy dungeon-crafting RTSes, this is an absolute gem. It’s like a true addition to the Dungeon Keeper series! My only complaint is that the Sandbox mode costs extra.
  • War for the Overworld Underlord Edition 39.98 -67%->13.29 Just the game and its Underlord pack, which includes a graphics theme, soundtrack, an old-style manual, and a few stories.
  • War for the Overworld Anniversary Collection 55.96 -56%->24.44 The game and all the game-related stuff aside from the worker skins. This includes an expansion pack and the Sandbox mode.
  • Shadowrun Complete Collection 69.95 -56%->10.35 I’ve not played these but old school-style western-rpg using a cyberpunk modern/fantasy hybrid tabletop game setting.
  • Dark Souls II 39.99 -70%->11.99 I’ve only played Dark Souls 1 but this is the sequel with all the extra stuff.
  • 20XX 14.99 -20%->11.99 I played an early build of this. It was a lot of fun, felt like Megaman X but with proc-gen levels. The only catch is that felt repetitive. From how the screenshots look, it’s had a lot more work put into it.
  • Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse 19.99 -40%->11.99 If Risky was a Metroidvania, this feels more like a platformer whose replayable levels have a lot of hidden stuff tucked around each side-path. Instead of going to locations by foot (or teleport after you tag the columns) instead you pick each location and play through several levels within them. Still a great game.
  • Tales of Zestiria 49.99 -75%->12.49Another Tales Of title. Need I say more?
  • INSIDE + LIMBO 29.98 -58%->12.58 Two dark puzzle-platformers. I’m sure you’ve heard of LIMBO. INSIDE is a second game by the devs.
  • Magicka 2 33.96 -62%->12.96 Magicka’s sequel.
  • Slime Rancher 19.99 -33%->13.39 A bit of a cross between a farm-raising animals and exploring (and fighting) a first person action game with a variety of locations you can reach and unlock
  • Shantae Half-Genie Hero 19.99 -33%->13.39 Shantae’s latest game.
  • LEGO Marvel’s Avengers 39.99 -66%->13.59 While I haven’t played this I have played a lot of other LEGO film games. They tend to feel the same but have different characters, locations, and jokes. This one is for fans of the Marvel films and/or comics.
  • Magicka 39.99 -66%->13.59 The base game is just $2.49 but this is all the extra content from locations and quests to equipment. You’ll spend a heck of a lot less than I did.
  • Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster 29.99 -50%->14.99, Played through Console. Normally I wouldn’t recommend FFX. As much as I love the series I haaaaaate Blitzball. But this is X and its sequel and X at least was fun and pretty when you weren’t Blitzballing.
  • de Blob 19.99 -25%->14.99, Played through Console. One part dystopian Jet Set Radio, one part N64/PS1 style puzzle-platformer. Originally a student project this game is bizarre yet fun, though I was unaware it had a sequel. In some ways it is similar to Super Mario Sunshine, in others Splatoons may have taken a few cues from both of them.
  • Owlboy 24.99 -33%->16.74 Aerial Metroidvania where you pick up and throw items/people to fight and progress in the levels. Its a lot of fun.
  • CrossCode 19.99 -15%->16.99 I first came across this as a browser demo ages back. It was just a handful of puzzle-levels (which later became the in-game tutorial stages). Then a bigger and grander demo came out that added a brief snapshot of the game’s story and a sneak peek at one of the first exploration maps with hidden treasures and a not-so-secret boss fight to unlock. The Steam demo is sadly missing that. I must warn you: while the game is an awesome action-rpg with richochetting bullet ranged attack that’s also used for puzzles, it is a bit grindy. In-game the setting is an ARG-VR-MMORPG hybrid thing and you’re running around in a player hypertech robot suit. There’s a lot of quests and sidequests and hidden things but even so there is a grind.
  • Valve Complete Pack 200.81 -91%->17.52 If you don’t have most if not any of the games this is a steal. Of course you can just cherry pick the games you want.
  • XCOM 2 59.99 -67%->19.79 XCOM Enemy Unknown’s sequel.
  • Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim 39.99 -50%->19.99 I’m honestly hoping you already have this. I have no idea if this version gives you the original for free.
  • Zero Escape: The Nonary Games 44.99 -25%->33.74, Played through DS. I’ve only played 999 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors. This is a VN-Point and Click-Escape the Room hybrid with a healthy dose of deathgame and a dash of horror mixed in. Considering I paid about the sale price for just one game, this not bad for it and its sequel.
  • Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma 39.99 -40%->23.99 The third game in the series. Cheaper than the first two (understandable as it is on its lonesome) but that percentage being lower too is a bit confusing.
  • Zero Escape Trilogy 84.98 -39%->51.96 The whole Zero Escape series thus far. Not sure if there will be more but this makes it a single lump purchase.

thanks for the list
dark souls 2 is at the moment in the humble monthly (12$ so it might be stupid to buy it for 11.99$ on steam as you would get on humble other games as well

Yeah it'd be nice if I had $40 to spend on games but then if I did I wouldn't be giving it to Valve or Bethesda.

I just wanna leave this here.
Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition 39.99 -60%->15.99
One of my favourite games on steam. Amazing soundtrack, great art style, great full voice-acting, and my favourite combat system of any game I've ever played (soon to be 2nd best after DOS 2 comes out).
Normally it only goes on a 50% sale, this is the best price I've seen.
