Nah I get where you're coming from. Price is kind of a factor for me, especially since I'm familiar with (and sick of) the song-and-dance of a game coming out for $60+ day 1, needing patches/dlc additions, then the complete edition being discounted a year or so after release. I'm not as stingy as some folks, but if I'm going to drop money I want to make sure I'm going to enjoy what I get, and with the oversaturation out there (imo) it makes it harder for something to stand out among others. So much has changed in the gaming sphere within the past decade too.

Yeah for sure. It was on sale on Fanatical recently, but according to GGdeals it doesn't seem to get much sales.
According to a recent post they made it looks like the game is hitting 1.0 in about 3 months, so maybe they'll do a sale before/on release!

"Bramble: The Mountain King" is very interesting.
But it seems like a game that will be in a Humble choice sooner or later and because of this it will be sold in keyshops for 1.5$.
Also it looks like there are some price bugs going on.
Steamdb reports that "Bramble: The Mountain King" was 81% off during this sale (now 50%). So It's possible that these bundles are also priced wrong (I mean 50% discounts probably shouldn't have stacked).

Yep, that's a possibility. However, The discount rate of the package can be adjusted arbitrarily by the developer and distributor. If it was a pricing error, the discount rate should have been adjusted immediately like GTA 5 that was sold just before.
Also, it doesn't really matter whether the game will be included in the bundle or not. Some people find playing a good game quickly a more valuable experience than waiting for a bundle.
You are free to have fun imagining the Humble Choice lineup, but there is no need to lower the value of the good games released this year by citing the prices of key stores.

Well, I'm not trying to dissuade you from buying Bramble.
Bramble is indeed an interesting game, but 1.5$ is not only its potential price in key stores in the future, it'll also be its technical price in Humble Choice (12/8=1.5$). Here I see a case of "delayed vs. immediate gratification".

A more relevant question is if it's being purchased to be played sometime soon. You can't guarantee future grey market prices, but you can gauge current interest and if the current price satisfies that interest.

There is no need to calculate your purchase strategy that much... The important thing is that the Steam evaluation of the game clearly shows to those who will play the game right now that it is worth paying the full price, and to them, there is no such thing as a potential price in the future.
