So today I cracked open under my laptop. And in the PCIE 1X slot was the wireless card; until then BAM. I had an idea; what if I took at Mini PCIE to 16x cable like this. And take an external wireless card; and then put in a low-range card (something like the the EVGA 8400; and boom, I have a replacement for my crappy Intel Graphics 4000; would this work?

Most vid cards require 8-16 lanes of PCI throughput, so if you install it on a 1-4 lane slot it will seriously cripple the vid card performance.

Even if it worked, the GPU you linked is very slow. It's quite slower than your current Intel HD 4000.

You're going to want to read through this thread. It's more about the BPlus PE4L but the functionality is the same.

Bandwidth isn't a huge issue with a x1.2opt link as long as you stick to upper midrange cards or lower. And as mentioned above, a 8400 is massively slower than an Intel HD4000.
