I had a similar experience. It was after me and my friends passed our entrance exams for university. We wanted to celebrate and since we just got old enough to get legally drunk we wanted to try it. At the end of the day I vomited on the carpet then passed out. I still don't remember that night and the whole next day. Apparently I spent that day sleeping alone in my home and my friends didn't bother to check on me. And the day after, my family came back from their vacation and found all that mess. Now that's what I call ashamed.
Now I just look back and think of it as a funny little life experience. Though because of that I still can't stand the smell of whiskey :)

Hey, Happy (late) Birthday! And don't worry about going off the rails at the pub. That has happened to literally everyone (of pub age, at least) who isn't a total homebody. We've all overdone it at the pub some time. Just don't do it too often, and don't spend time being embarrassed about this one time. I guarantee that you're more worried about it than any of your friends that were there.

I've gone out and got too drunk and felt stupid about the things I've done in my time. Plenty of other people have as well. It isn't admirable but don't get it out of perspective.
It isn't a good idea to go out and get too drunk when you aren't in the best place mentally but that is also when you are most likely to do it. It is part of being human and many people will have been their also and be understanding.
If your friends are real friends then they will understand and forgive and forget. If they aren't real friends then don't worry about it.

Happy Birthday, As long as noone is hurt, don't be too tough on yourself. We've all done things that we felt ashamed and embarrassed about. Don't give up on celebrating your next. I am sure your friends are weary the next time. ;) Perhaps a house party will be great.

sooo, i had irl birthday on April 13th, sorry for late train, some bad circumstances, sadly, im an idiot, i feel very bad and shiiet, ashamed by myself and my behaviour., im generally pretty calm and adequate person.
Prehistory:i haven't celebrated my irl birthday for about 4 years,( turned 23 now),so i decided that i wanna celebrate in this year.
so, i assembled some company with me and we went into pub (RIP)
For some time now i feel sad mostly, that day wasnt exception, so my mood was more than sad.
i dont wanna write down about why im generally sadly,i try to find in everything something good.
In pub, i drunk a lot!, i got vomit (ASHAMED LLVL 1000) i dont remember anything for about 2 hours of that situation, i feel so ashamed because of people, which was there and saw this, im an idiot, i have no idea how it happened, my mind just got off and i dont remember anything.
Cconsequences; really dont bother, +-,( 200 euro in pub), -300 euro for broken phone,except shame for some years :(
