Am I avoiding your blacklist this time around?
Yeah, it's on Monday (my time, I guess not everywhere), when the GAs end, guess I didn't ever actually say that, haha.
Thanks!

Happy early birthday, AwesomePossum50. I hope you're having a good weekend and hopefully you'll have a great birthday :)

Yeah, my older sister surprised us by showing up yesterday from Utah (big surprise ;), so it should be great having her here! :D

Nice :) Hopefully you and you're family will enjoy the time you have with her.

Happy Birthday!
Possums are indeed awesome. My girlfriend rescued one when he was a baby (he had been abandoned and it was starting to get cold outside). Unfortunately, possums don't live long lives, and he passed away this year. Thunderbolt was his name, and was super-awesome (and friendly).

Aww... Poor Thunderbolt, it's always so hard to lose pets, so I hope she and you haven't had it too rough. My dog that we had for ~17 years just passed away several months ago and I still think I hear him and start putting his name into songs randomly, then get sad when I remember... But I believe he's in a better place now, where he can finally run and jump and dance again, and if "All Dogs Go To Heaven" than I'm sure Possums do too. ;P
Thanks for the birthday wishes as well!
EDIT: Oh, and I just remembered that you mentioned it on my last giveaway. It was a bit ago.

They're just too careful with that cake, serve it faster, haha.

Happy Birthday!
I have read a bit of The Book of Mormon. I stopped after learning about 2 Nephi 5:21 and similar passages. However, I do know that the church has made efforts to be a bit more inclusive.

Yeah, those passages do sound really bad, but thankfully things have come a long way.
I still can't say I fully understand the reasonings or anything for the "curse" as plenty of times the descendants of those Lamanites were a much better/more righteous people than the Nephites, but I think maybe it might be in some ways describing attitudes, as well? I don't really know but both groups did very disturbing and dark things when they were ignoring the Lord and all that, it's pretty scary. :(
I just hope it doesn't leave too hard of feelings, because we really do want everyone to be able to feel God's love..

So a while ago I shared a message from a leader of my church, and I talked about being Mormon. Not too long after that, the new president of our church began encouraging us all to use the full name of the church when we talk about it, so I'm doing so now. I'm sharing a couple of talks this time around, one talking more about using the full name and one more general.
Also my birthday is in a couple of weeks so I finally made a real train! It's mostly stuff that I've gotten from having a chance to subscribe to Humble Choice for the past year, but also a few others. There might be more added later, so stay tuned, I guess?
Also last time I made it onto like 20+ blacklists, maybe partially because I mentioned I might have a giveaway behind a "quiz", but I decided this is easier. You can watch either, both, or neither talk and join the train if you want. But I'm not going to and don't want any arguing, fighting, insults or anything negative, preferably, so if that's all you have to say, please just enter the giveaways without comments, I guess?
Anyways, the train starts HERE, good luck, have fun!
EDIT: Just occurred to me that you probably can't even see region-restricted giveaway pages, so for those that can't enter via the front cart, hop on HERE.UPDATE: A few more GAs added! Starting from HERE.
Talk #1:
Dieter F. Uchtdorf
Talk #2 (about the name):
Neil L. Anderson
And since there were plenty of other good talks, I'll just leave this link as well: October 2021 Conference Playlist
