Makes me wonder if this one will ever get a special version/remake like the first two games did. Remember to confirm and have fun.
I've sailed the seas from Trinidad to Tortuga and I've never seen anything like it! The engagement ring I gave Elaine has a terrible pirate curse on it. LeChuck is behind it, I'm sure. I should have known that nothing good could come out of that evil zombie's treasures. And if that's not bad enough, the clairvoyant I met in the mangrove swamp told me that if I am to break the curse and save Elaine, I will have to die!

Hopefully, eventually. It'll give us hope that the fourth one will also get a remaster.
After all, as per one of the reviews on the fourth game:
:P
Well, I'm not super big on the stylistic changes of the remakes-
For example, this versus this [ie, realistic imagery changed over to a style reminiscent of Disney's Hercules], but I significantly prefer the overall art quality of the remakes. No more deformed, overly goofy character art and visually muddled environment art. Ends up being a huge improvement in terms of immersion and effects on PnC gameplay, without even factoring in the pixelated->non-pixelated aspect of it.
Curse at least benefits from being beyond the pixelation era, but once you've experienced the possibility of non-deformed character art, it's hard to go back . :P

You posted the same image twice in the "this versus this" bit!
But I agree, the 4th definately needs a remaster first :-p

WHOOPS. Okay, fixed that first link. :P
(And thanks for being that attentive to my posts, always nice to know someone is actually following the image/video links I post. ^.^)
Yeah, that was actually my intended main point, but I think I kinda forgot to loop back to that. >.>
Like, the third one would be improved because of stylistic benefits, but it's not as near in need of updating as the first two and fourth one were/are.

"Pick up the moon? Are you nuts?"
Ah Guybrush, this brings back childhood memories. I hadn't noticed the later ones also made it to steam, I only have the first two (remasters) in my library. :)
Looking at the fourth (on steam) it seems like they really messed up compatibility with modern x64 OSs. Pity.

It's sexy enough for it, though its habit of mooning everyone on a daily basis is a bit peculiar.
(Link is both SFW and recommended to the musically inclined.)

That was surprisingly nice. :) Thank you.

Apart from maybe widescreen support I don't think this game requires any remastering. It still looks very good. Pixelated graphics only add to the charm, and that's something those two special editions of the first two games were lacking.
Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
