On the "New York has 12 Seasons, and We Are Here" meme we've been lodged far too long at Hell's Front Porch, between Summer and False Fall. Last night the sweaty temperatures slipped down to something reasonable, and I was able to run the fan and keep the window open. What a difference! Sometimes, it's the little things.

We soft-open As You Like It on Saturday, weather permitting - two weekends of easygoing free outdoor shows in an Upper West Side community garden, and then we'll have two more weeks performing indoors. Surely I must have all my lines memorized by now, right? Ahem.
