Description

Happy belated cake day, Fyantasic! :)

Thanks for Skyrim! :)

Ok, so now you don't have to say it. Thank you! :)

According to the Steam reviews this is a terrible VR game, which is ok because I don't have a VR thing and most likely neither do you. :)

Eh, it's free stuff, who cares, right? :) Pity there's no trading cards, though. Maybe in the next one?

Oh yeah, the next one! Speaking of VR games that the winner can't even play... :) One more, just for fun...

Good luck! :)

While still beeing carefull I modded my Skyrim to Death do you think VR can fix it?
this is no serious question

Thanks for Skyrim!

Hmm, that's a good question... :) I never fooled around much with Skyrim mods, but modded my Oblivion install to death several times... :) Actually I never got anywhere close to finishing Skyrim, just ran around doing whatever and ignoring the main quest, whatever it was... Typical Elder Scrolls, in other words. :)

I wonder if "normal" Skyrim mods work on this thing, or if you need special vr versions of everything. Suppose that's only relevant if the winner actually owns a VR thing, fortunately a +1 always works... :)

I've been tempted to check out some of the recent Morrowind & Daggerfall stuff going on, but I know I'd never be able to play either one "for real" all these years later... Oh well.

Good luck, if you try for it! :)

I did the exact opposite the first and only time I played through Skyrim. I played the main storyline, which took all of like 5 hours, and just thought I was finished with it since I completed it. Like, I went back and checked and I have 15 hours in the original game with 15% of the achievements unlocked. I literally had no idea of the extent the modding community took that game.

I've went back this past month and modded both Skyrim and Fallout 4 and plan on doing a proper play though of it this time. Wish me luck on the CTD's! :D

Wishing you luck on the thing :)

I never finished a TESL game. Have Morrorwind on CD but it broke, bought in on Steam but with also Oblivion and Skyrim never felt like playing it again.
Arena was probably the furthest but my character was to imba. Very durable magic shield, healing, invisibility to escape. Was no fun anymore with 4,5+ levels deep mazes per quest.....

Good luck! :)

I got so tired of Fallout 4, maybe I should look for a mod for "Shut up about these stupid settlements, I just want to play the game." Or failing that, some way to give those clowns enough guns to defend themselves without my help. I wasted hours building stuff to protect this stupid village, then I go exploring and nope, sorry, I have to stop exploring and hurry back to protect grrrrr, just typing it I'm getting frustrated. Screw those clowns! :)

If I ever try to play Fallout 4 again, I'm not building a single thing. Let it all burn. :)

p.s. Wow my internet is crap today, glad I copied this message out of habit... :)

Thank you fiftykyu. And a hidden belated happy cake factory day to Fyantastic, too!

I've entered this one. I don't have a proper VR setup, but I have VRidge + Riftcat + Google Cardboard + XBox 360 controller, which has worked pretty well for every VR game I've tried that has controller support, so I'll definitely give it a shot if I win it. Maybe it will be cool enough to actually finish in VR!?

"Thanks for Skyrim!" ;)

I ended up buying these two for myself, despite having no way to play them, and no desire to get any VR thing ever... :) But they were so cheap I figured eh, maybe some day vr will come free inside every pair of glasses and I'll be able to go back and play all the stuff I forgot buying 20 years back... :) Or something like that... :) Oh well...

Hope it's cool enough to finish somehow, the only Elder Scrolls game I finished was Oblivion... :( I'm remembering how amazing it looked once upon a time, and how amazing it doesn't look today... :)

Good luck! :)

The only one I ever finished was Arena (the first one). I intended to play more Skyrim, but when I started it it just seemed too BIG! So many "epic RPGs" in my Steam library ... . One day!

oh wow.

Fyanta is still doing an outstanding work, here around, something a little different from the rest, imo.

and you keep puzzling us... again ...and again.
(i'm usually very bad at puzzles cause of inner dumbness mixed with an overdose of laziness)

love very old links of ancient, kinda dinosaurs members that actually built the pages i'm browsing today. a big bunch of them are elsewhere (and would be awesome to see a comeback or two) but still, that's a true sign this site has solid, very solid foundations (so... no, we're not dying!) and use those links whenever toxicity (and boredom) spreads on the forum.

ok, trite enough, as usual :D

yes, it's official: i'm dumb! :(

There's not much of a puzzle in this one, just the usual umm, whatever it's called... Hiding the giveaway in the youtube link lazy sort of puzzle... :) I dunno if this is worth entering, but it was cheap enough that I don't care what happens with it... :)

I should probably try more of Skyrim some day, don't have any way to play this version but who knows what the future holds... :)

Good luck if you try for it... :)

Umm, I think nobody's got a VR thing in here, don't worry about it... :) Imagine playing it some day, whenever... :)

Good luck if you try for it! :)

Yeah, I think that counts... :) I'll stick with just imagine playing it, though... :) Seems I play most of my games that way, though... :(

Good luck! :)

Every time I'm tempted to spend hard earned money on a headset, I watch a video of gameplay on youtube and save my dough lol

I'll probably never get one until it's wireless, and cheaper... :) Can just imagine getting tangled in some cords and tripping myself, then smashing my head on something when I fall over... :) Oh, and puking all over myself too... :) Hopefully this gets trading cards soon, so I can play it by magic without ever installing it... :)

Good luck if you try for it, and don't feel bad about not being able to play... :) I'd be surprised if more than 1 or 2 people in here can actually do it... :)

Yeah there's a cinema in town that has a "VR room" where you can experience the magnificence of getting your skull and neck crushed by the massive weight of a contraption that's basically just a couple of screens stuffed in a pair of goggles with a ton of wires attached to it. I wish they'd call it 360° headsets because that's really all it is (and most of the time there's really nothing above or below you so it's not even really 360).
I'll get in on it when it's a chip they put in your brain :P
