Hey!
Just wanted to say thank you for your comment in my Shadow of War giveaway. I'm sad to inform you that I decided to delete the giveaway. Maybe you remember the giveaway description, I wanted someone who had played Shadow of Mordor and also would be willing to play Shadow of War soon after winning and finishing it within a few months.
I got a few non-comment entries which I wasn't too happy about, but still perhaps ok since several of them were from people I'm pretty sure would play the game.
Then I got one no-comment entry from a quite high profile SG member. Someone who has won 453 games on SG, 316 of them have achievements. Of those 316 games, just one game has achievements gained in it. And in that one single game, there is just one achievement gained, for finishing the tutorial.
The user has also entered other "please play if you win" giveaways, and after winning saying that they can't play the game because of poor health. I understand you can be ill and not being able to sit in front of a computer, but the user has no problem being online on SG all the time and writing 50 000+ comments. Regardless if the user can't play games, or doesn't want to play games, it's so incredibly disrespectful entering a giveaway like that then. I would be so sad for all of you good users who entered the giveaway if that uses turned out to win.
I must say I was fooled by that user at one time (when I whitelisted them), thinking it was a friendly user who was welcome at my whitelist, but after this I got a reminder that I really should clean my whitelist and look for users I think are more reliable and respectful.
I got a bit depressed from this and don't know if I want to take care of going through my whitelist right now, and if/when I'll redo the giveaway. Just wanted to say thank you again, and that you are staying on my whitelist. I hope you understand why I chose to delete the giveaway, and I hope you are not upset.
