Winner will receive a Steam Key. After activating the key to Steam account, you will see a section that says "CD Key" in the game entry in your library. You need to have the latest version of Uplay installed (get it from Uplay website, not directly from Steam) and enter that key into Uplay.
For games that require Uplay, if you don't see a "CD Key" section in the game's Steam library entry, it means the game will get bound to your Uplay account after you download and launch it from Steam.

You'll probably get 300 entries from people who don't really know what Rocksmith is, are mainly interested in the cards, and don't even have a guitar/bass or intent to buy the cable needed to run it, so mostly people who would never end up using it.
Then you'll get 10 or so entries from instrument owners who are genuinely interested in Rocksmith and ready to buy the cable if they win ;) I'm one of those 10, so I want to say thanks for such a nice giveaway!

Very interesting... I didn't know that it was a remastered edition.
I've been keeping my eye on this since I saw it on PS3.
I almost bought the game when I saw that I had to have the cable...
I quit the idea when cable+game was too expensive.

Oh wow, didn't expect to win. As tso said above, some people wouldn't have the stuff for this, but luckily for me I own a guitar and know a few friends with real tone cables. Thank you very much, means my guitar won't just be gathering dust now.
