As usual, the signs that the volcano in my neighborhood—which has had three minor eruptions—is about to erupt are getting worse.( ･Θ･).;'.､ 🌋
On a personal note, over the past two or three months, there’s been a game where the people who used to support players have all disappeared because of the bad behavior of some gamers.
(Apparently, someone tricked the police into shooting another player.)
So, I’ve voluntarily taken it upon myself to man the support desk for a certain game and provide support to players in their place.
This is because the situation has gotten so out of hand that the game’s staff only show up on the chat for three minutes a day.
(This is just my personal opinion, and I'm exaggerating a bit, by the way.((´Θ`))lol)

On my personal blog, I’ve been fine-tuning the Space Translator, and while I’ve found the optimal settings for a specific language (making Japanese multilingual)...
But when I try to translate multiple languages into Japanese, the accuracy and stability are all over the place...
Something called VibeASR came out in early September, so I’ve been looking into it. While the “Auto” mode works fine for English, it gets completely unstable when I speak—I’m really at a loss as to what to do... I’ve been searching for the best solution for a little over a month now, trying to create a tool to assist with live streams and gameplay.
Simple one-to-one translations—like English to Japanese or Japanese to English—work fine, but I’m still searching for an alternative that outperforms Whisper while running with low system load and low cost.:p
Well, I guess it's okay to put some effort into things other than games every once in a while.┐(´Θ`)┌⋯
(And even though a ton of natural disasters have been happening all over the world ever since I started doing that, I'm sure it's just a coincidence.)

Ah, I managed to get my hands on a used air conditioner this year, so my room has been a lot cooler. Thanks.
But...
Because of the humidity, there's a lot of mold inside now.
I'll have to give it a thorough cleaning before winter sets in.
However, you absolutely can't use alkaline cleaners on aluminum. I grabbed a screwdriver and was ready to take it apart for a proper cleaning, but one of the screws I needed to remove was stripped, so I couldn't get it out.
I just gave it a quick cleanup for now and am keeping an eye on it.
...I'm currently considering a backup plan: using a steam cleaner that produces steam over 60°C to get rid of the mold.

Sounds like a window or portable air conditioner. There's probably an air filter, and maybe some foam panels to reduce noise. I have no idea how hot those can stand getting. If it were me, I'd figure out how to remove the stripped screw. Even if the steam kills the mold, I would want to remove the dead mold from the unit. But that's me.
