Description

IndieGala key. And no, your eyes are not deceiving you, it has over a dozen siblings, all put up on the site gradually.

Siblings like in - twins? I'd love to get it as I have Enigmatis II already. Not to mention I fell in love with HOGs >.< So thank you for the chance. Maybe this time will be my lucky try :D

Just wait a few minutes. Then, another few minutes. Then, another few minutes. Repeat it, I don't know, 15-ish times.

Like this one? Or this one?
Wasn't in the mood. Had a few other motives. And if you don't own the sequel, you'll love tomorrow!

Randomly felt like being an asshat this time?

Nope.
There is a filter option on the site if you are that bothered. :)
Or wait, I have a better idea. Just refresh. They will all magically be gone (except the ones you entered). You are welcome. <3

Thank you for many chances to win this awesome game ! ^.^ May the luck be with me :D

Well, if you decide to blow your points on each one, you have slightly better odds than one large GA, but only because so far my prediction of lower entry numbers is only slightly getting true.
It is a good HOG though, and has a much, much better sequel (with only 50 GAs already or soon going live :)).

Yeah! Thanks for the effort, i appreciate it. I don't mind "wasting" my points if my chances are much higher :D
Wow, i will definitely keep an eye on that. ^_^

lol ya crazy xD

oh, but I bet there will be several multi wins produced that way, so your plan is to get people banned ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I don't expect that many. The chance for even one double-win is way below 1%. But I have a spreadsheet ready.

Thanks for making it easy choosing what to spend my points on!
The game looks super interesting. :)

It's a standard hidden object game with a stock plot, but the developer is known for its good to excellent overall quality. The sequel is among the highest-tier HOGs though.
By the way, nice avatar, even if it is one of the basic Steam ones I think. Lili is a good game, even if it looks repetitive before one plays it.

Oh, thanks! I'm surprised someone recognized it.
I adore Lili, it's one of those "no stress" happy feeling games that make you smile. :)

I see! I must admit I'm not very experienced in the HOG genre. But when the "Girl missing and weird things happening around town", I naturally start wanting to know what happened.
Are there any other HOGs you could recommend for beginners?
It seems like such a nice type of game to play, perhaps with close friends on a Friday night over some wine...

Lili is still mostly known as an iPad title. Plus it is the kind of game that after some experience just screams "buy it for the wife: she'll love it" to most gamers. And these kinds of games that are usually have insanely high female player base are more of a niche thing on Steam still.

As for HOGs… I could find the post I wrote once, but I just type it:
Anything developed (not just published) by Artifex Mundi is a good bet. This one and its sequel are a great place to start at, but other highly recommended ones are the Nightmares from the Deep trilogy, the two Grim Legends, and Abyss: Wraiths of Eden.
FIVE-BN Games also recently started its migration to Steam. Anything they made is top-notch.
Not recommended for first-timers, but after a few games, I'd say the Empress of the Deep trilogy. Sadly, the third game was removed from Steam, so I advise to get them from elsewhere.
The same developers also made Theatre of the Absurd. No relation to the stage play sub-genre, but it is a good supernatural mystery.
A more kid-friendly version is Robin's Quest. Another good one is Tiny Bang Story, which is a textless fantasy game, although it is not a traditional HOG.
Any newcomer should also enjoy the Princess Isabella trilogy. Its quality decreases as it goes, but the first game was the one that started the modern HOG format.
Big Fish is experimenting with Steam again. They released the first and official second (there is an in-between title) games of Drawn. If you never played them, then buy them as soon as you can and play them. They are among the best casual adventure games ever made.
And finally, my personal highest-tier recommendation, the two Brink of Consciousness games, which not only showed that you can make an incredibly good HOG with no experience in the genre, but also that these games can transcend the simple casual stamp and tell one of the best-written thrillers in video games.

Pssst. If you still want the game, stop blocking me in Steam and accept the friend request. ;)

Wow, that's so kind of you. Sorry I didn't notice it before now - Accepted. :)

And thank you so much for that great list of recommendations! You must really love the genre, it's getting me excited about these games too. Looks I got Grim Legends unplayed in my library - let's see if I find the time to give it a whirl this weekend.
