Firstly, you may want to read the rules. Gifts handled through Steam are allowed, it literally says they can be done through steam by adding the person. Using the gift system is not required. Secondly, your account is blocking friend requests, hence why youre profile is probably full of them.
Regardless, since you finally added me, I won't reroll the prize.
