Those have been quite the same since the early crowdfunding stylish thing they had on their own webpage. So the extra package prices reflect support more than content. The upgrade DLC was a new thing for Steam I think and the price would reflect the price of original package to not make the people who bought the original package angry?

That being said, the link you provided is not for the DLC, but also includes the game. Upgrade doesn't include the game, or extra games.

It does have the bonuses, but you don't have the base game to upgrade first of all. Anyway, already requested a re-roll.

I didn't know they still sold this DLC. It was sold as a way to support the game while it was in early access. The prisoner and BIO you create goes into the game itself, so your prisoner has a chance to appear in anyone's game. If you just want to rename a prisoner in your own game, I believe you can do it in the game itself. I played it during the alpha, but I haven't played it since the 1.0 release.
