In my understanding. People say "Thanks" like in "Thank you for giving me a opportunity to win a game". Honestly I don't get why people say thanks in every giveaway as it removes the joy in receiving it. Say if people said thanks to every little good thing I did then it would lose a lot of meaning to me.

yes we do have manners :P, but I get it now, they say thanks for the opertunety to win the game but they say thanks to every giveaway isn't that to mutch but some just say thanks... just to say thanks when they don't get anything why don't wait untill someone win the game? :P :D xD

They say thanks because someone gave away something they bought and usually ask for nothing in return. And people SHOULD be thanked for this behavior. Otherwise, people wouldn't know that these things are appreciated.
