FYI if you need a reroll you will have to wait 7 days. Rules clearly say winners have 7 days grace and no "conditions of entry" can change that. Refer to the recent PSA about deleting giveaways, same principal.
Would be nice if winner claims it promptly, I couldn't agree more, but "legally" can't be enforced.

Since when is that the case? I had no issue rerolling winners in the past in a day or two, who won my DLC giveaway without owning the base game.

.... "Apples and Oranges" Damianea, we are talking apples while you are talking oranges. That is a completely different issue, more a fault in the Steam API allowing those people to enter the giveaway.

Not really, why would you need a reroll for any other case? If it's a problem with the key, a reroll won't solve your problem. If it's region issues, you won't even be granted a reroll.

In cases where the game has been deleted from Steam the person can win the game yet already own it, so creator can request a reroll.
I won once but asked for a reroll because despite really wanting the game I decided I should support the devs so bought the bundle it was from instead, giving someone else the chance.
There are a few other occassions rerolls are asked.
Also FYI my comment was due to the fact ejidehak stipulated the winner must redeem key with 24 or 48 hours of giveaway finishing, so I was just commenting saying that staff won't accept that and make him wait the 7 days.

That still comes back to the same point as rerolling because the person already owns the DLC, staff don't make the GA creator wait 7 days in those cases, nor do they when deleting GAs. The only time you have to wait 7 days, is when you want to mark the GA as not recieved. I've experienced both cases, and they both came down to how fast a staff member found the ticket, sometimes taking a couple hours, other times a couple days,
