Description

I'm back with more giveaways! Starting with a somewhat big one and ending with a bigger (whitelist/group only) one. Will be doing a few smaller ones over the next couple of weeks.

I assume this is one of those games Steamgifts doesn't recognize you have. So, PLEASE ONLY ENTER IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE BASE GAME OR DON'T HAVE THE DLC'S!

This game shouldn't be region restricted, but if it is, please allow me to delete the giveaway. Thank you!

Winner, please mark feedback as soon as you can, thank you!

Today's question: What's your favorite game genre?

I'd say RPGs are my favourite genre. Though I also really like immersive sims!

What a coincidence! I'm currently replaying through Dying Light right now. It's the only horror game I can bring myself to play without wussing out. It's so much fun, though!

Have a nice one as well!

Oh, I really like Indie games! Quite a number of them are really good and with buying and playing them, you support small developers who might be doing that as a job and need an income!

Easily, open world rpg. I played fallout new vegas and elder scroll oblivion recently for the first time. These two game just amazed me in every way I can think of.
Like even now, I just want to start a new save and play these two again for the next month. For example, do melee, unarmed build for new vegas or a mage build for oblivion.

Oblivion is my favorite game of all time! I'm glad you're enjoying it. Also, as someone who just finished doing a mage-only build for Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim last year, Oblivion is the best for it! Spellcrafting + Spells not taking up a weapon slot so you can hold a staff and cast at the same time. The conjuring skill in Oblivion is so much fun. It's a shame they nerfed magic in Skyrim.

I'd say that open world RPG would be my favorite as well, having played Fallout 3 and half of New Vegas (I had to take a pause when life got busy, but I really need to get back into that!) Now you're making me want to dive into The Elder Scrolls games, though! :D

I like all sorts of video game genres but my most favorite one is the Beat 'em Up genre. Any Beat 'em Up fans out there?

Not really a genre, but I really enjoy indie games. Maybe that's because I love playing games that are hard to categorize sometimes.

Whatever genre best describes the Dishonored games 😁
"Immersive Sim" is the phrase that gets used most I think, but I think of them as First-Person-Stealth-with-Magic-Powers games 😅

Thank you for the wishlist chance, I really must finish the first game (nearly at the end of the main game and just started the DLC storyline, but that was a couple of years ago now... 🙄😅)

Dishonored is great! I also highly recommend the Thief series. Only the reboot has actual magic but the original game has magic arrows and such. Although they are a bit dated..

I've got the old Thief games on GOG, but never got around to playing them. I must admit their age has put me off a bit 😅
I got the new Thief really cheap on Steam but never played that either, probably since some people are less than complimentary about it. Maybe I'll give it a try, I've been looking for something new to play 😁

Turn-based tactical RPGs, open world games with choice driven plot, and a special place for roguelikes (Enter the gungeone one love!).

Adventure (point and click) and walking sims. I guess these wouldn’t be the first choice for many people, but for a one handed gamer, they make gaming possible :) Visual novels too!

Walking sims are pretty great. I love how they focus on world building instead of gameplay to make them extra special. I played Eastshade somewhat recently and it's an absolutely gorgeous game with wonderful quests!

I would say the games I enjoy the most are turn based. I loved classic RPG (original Fallouts, Balldur's Gate) as well as HoMM3 (I think my favorite game overall), but I don't mind trying any genre after all. ;) For a couple of years, I was playing on console only, which is not the best option for PRG games IMO, so now I'm trying to catch up on a "new wave" of classic RPG

I like fighters most nowadays. But I play almost all genres, except FPS games.

I like a variety, but I've always particularly enjoyed a specific subset of platformers, for example: Megaman Zero and the like. I also love RPGs.

RPGs and FPSs I used to love strategic games and base building ones but I don't have time for them anymore...
