Hi guys! I come to you today to ask for a favor. No, not for me, for someone else. There is a solo indie developer. Her name is Laura. Better known as CuddlePoint. And she is making a wholesome and lewd video game called Dreams of Amelia. Because she has a full-time job and works on her game in her free time, this leaves her with little to no time left to spread the word about her game.
And this is where we come in. Help me. Help me help her. Laura is one of the most passionate and hardworking gamedev I've ever met. And she alone doing the work that normally is being done by an entire team. I want to reward her passion and hard work. Life is hell, you know. We all struggle, and one's coming to save us. Well, I want us to be the superheroes in her story. I want to ease her struggle. I want to do for Laura what no one ever did for me. Maybe I'm simping, yeah. But who cares. I just want her to get the "happy ending" because I, myself, got the sad one.
Help me, guys. All I ask for are... 2 clicks
✅ Click 1 ✅ Please visit her game storepage: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3411670/Dreams_of_Amelia/ and hit that "Follow" & Add to Wishlist" button.
✅ Click 2 ✅ From her game's storepage - click on her Developer Page "CuddlePoint" and drop a Follow there too.
✅ Optional ✅ You can actually already buy her game on itch.io if you fancy. It's Super Early Access but already has 2 major updates.
And that's all! ❤️ And thank you most kindly! Steam is big, but we are many.
I believe that together, we can make a difference.
For the record, I have nothing to gain from this. A long time ago, I too had been making games. And to put it bluntly, I failed. And that's why I want her to succeed. Because I, too, once had that magical spark in me.

You see over and over the same users with the same comments, in the same order, in many of your GAs.
They have the thanks script activated, it is a part of the autojoiner program.
Of course only a small amount activate it, so by far not all are so easy to spot as this ones.
At the moment 500+ tickets are open because of autojoiners. I know only a part of the tickets/ticket writers, so most likely the number is, much?, higher.
https://www.steamgifts.com/stats/community/support show the open ticket stats. Updated daily 1x. Right now 1343 User report tickets are open.

Dear god I was not aware that the situation is so bad. Today I am dropping the last batch of keys and next time I will try narrowing the giveaways to lvl1+ users. I am afraid of smaller visibility tho but yeah - whats the worth of visibility if they ain't ppl?

I done a few times advertising on sg for a few small, 1 man, devs and one middle sized german publisher that i known because my curation made Beta tests for them. Partly with up to 5 reviewers to find the reason for existing game breaking bugs before the release.
I done this only for the ones that i seen as worthy from the games, from their acting (friendly, try to do regular fixes/updates for their games etc.) and where i known they don't do shady stuff.
From all checks that we done, i used links with "utm_source" that they were able to trace it better, were the clicks with level 1 GAs not lower as for level 0 GAs.
You use a utm_source link too that should give Laura the possibility to see how effective the advertising is.
All test of different people, me included, shown that only 10 - 15% of the sg accounts read descriptions. It is higher when the GA are for a game that give full value and wasn't in a bundle or for free somewhere and lower when the GA is for a freebie or a heavy bundled game.
