It's an arcade split screen local multiplayer game. Focus is on versus so far, but I'll add co-op later too. It's based on Goblin and Coins world, and supports 2x x-input gamepads, gp+kb or two players sharing a keyboard.
Current video/screens are just a demonstration to prove I have a usable build of the game and it's working. It's just me trying to play the game by myself with two hands on a keyboard (and if you ever tried that, you know it's not nearly as interesting as 2 separate people competing).
The released game would have several settings with their own backgrounds, platforms, enemies, traps, tricks (you collect something and spawn an enemy for your opponent, for example) to sabotage player 2 and so on.
In VS, you'd get a random easy level, then after someone wins, would move to random medium level, then random hard level.
Yes, it's short and fast, but I hope to make it interesting enough for people to play over and over.
In co-op, things would be much different, but that part is not going to be revealed yet in more details.
