A good OST is from "Oh brother's where are thou". It's mostly country, which isn't my main genre too, but the ech song is really great, and surprisingly George Clooney sings very good in one of the songs too. :)

A good OST is Cloud Atlas' soundtrack, especially the track "All boundaries are conventions". Ace Combat 5 has a pretty awesome one as well. If you like OST style stuff, I suggest picking up a few albums from Two Steps from Hell.
