I used it and got Spaceport Hope, Savior and Particle Mace. It doesn't take long and I removed it afterwards, since it's essentially Enhanced Steam, just not as good.

Lol. What I did was install the extension and then went to search for a game tag (Pixelized graphics for example, since I love those) and instead of the search page, a screen with 3 keys will pop up.

So what am I actually supposed to do to get them? As far as my russian goes to post you linked just said to refresh the page if the keys don't show, you say the popped after searching for a tag. nothing seems to work.

If the game was free at one point, it still counts. Same thing happened to Limbo and Amnesia: The Dark Decent, except those were official and by the devs.

yeah, but those were, what is a good word here... reproducable. What I'm trying to say is that they clearly did happen, for everyone, no matter the circumstances. this thing well, it's a bit shady tbh.
Either way the banned games are outright banned. You simply can't make GAs of them. Not because it's forbidden but because it's simply impossible. go to "create giveaway" and try to make a GA for said amnesia. It simply won't appear on the list. As such if something appears on the list it's not disallowed to be given away.

Amnesia is now "banned" because it was given away for free. So the admins removed it from the giveaway list. Users are supposed to let Steamgift staff know when a game has become free/part of a free giveaway, so they can remove it from possible giveaways. Otherwise, users would just abuse it to get free exp by getting multiple copies of it.

Yet Star Saviors can be easily given away which means either:
In case of the former all the GAs created after the incident and before the game was removed from the list will be retroactively changed to give no CV
In case of the latter nothing changes and the game is still perfectly fine to be given away.
Either way, you should not worry and should not post comments about "against the rules" stuff. After all

I've done both. Like most other users do. Let the giveaway creator know it's a free game and whether they take it down is up to them, but either way, the admins will deal with it afterwards.

Thank you for the answer, I guess I'll not find any more giveaways for this game here. Thank you for the link, but I think I'll pass, I'm not a very big fun of add-ons, especially Russian ones. The game looks nice, but it's not worth such trouble for me. Wishing you all the best.

It's fine. It's probably over anyway, and I usually remove it from chrome afterwards, since Enhanced Steam is better.
