More likely in 5-8 years. A lot of chances nowadays to get Witcher series games for free or almost for free.

Does seem like it'll be a while. Probably sometime around when the sequel is officially announced.

Having just finished it, I don't think I'll replay through it all over again just because of some ui changes, skill tree, item changes etc. The story would be the same although I could be going for a different ending but even then, I already got the most satisfactory ending that's out there, and even that wasn't a good enough one, so I'll probably just play phantom liberty for the side story.

Nice. Phantom Liberty does look cool.

I'll be playing the base game and expansion very soon myself.

Even with me not liking the ending choices very much, I still think the base game is worth it's price tag. I had like 10 bugs the entire 125 hours I played, and they weren't anything game breaking. I'm just hoping the endings to the expansion will be better. Saw a video where he basically said it's not a dlc it's an expansion so it's massive. I'm hoping it is.

I think you'll enjoy it.

Why? I could see how someone might still harbor feelings towards it's botched release despite the game being like 99% patched now, but what does anyone have against Witcher 3?

No, my bad, I was just saying I can understand why maybe someone, not necessarily you, would have feelings against the botched release of Cyberpunk2077, but Witcher 3 had a good release, so I was confused as to why someone would avoid that game, but it makes sense if it's not your type of game.

The Witcher 3 main story sits at around 52 hours, while Cyberpunk's is only around 25(although I think you have to do some side quests or you are forced into a bad ending, but I might be wrong), assuming you don't do any of the side quests. So in a sense, if around 50 hours is your limit, and you wanted to experience the best part of the game, the stories shouldn't be too long. I actually find it surprising how long the W3 one is.

I spent probably 200 hours in W3. Maybe a bit more.

I will say that the W3 update was excellent.
