Why People still buying cod?

Why do these threads still pop up? Why can't people enjoy games they like to play without people hating on them for it? Why are you asking this stupid question? Why?

Because people enjoy it apparently or else they wouldn't be buying it. I don't like it but I see why other people would.

It's a fun "party" and run and gun game, not a serious game for me but, its fun for 1 hour every now and then

Personally I prefer CS or BF as more serious and tactical fps games

They like it & other games may be too hard for them.

It's a fun game when playing against friends. Especially when you get to gloat all over their face.

video games are awful.

I'm thinking of pre ordering COD Ghosts. I think it's going to be awesome. Easily a 9.5/10 game. Awesome story, awesome atmosphere, awesome gameplay and not to mention a superbly awesome multiplayer.

Don't bash a game series because it's popular. That's just childish.

The cinematic quality of the games can't be questioned, nor can the responsive control scheme that makes the multiplayer enjoyable.

I enjoy playing cod more than battlefield 3 . Fuck me right? I must be totally a 12 year old jerk.
Mind you I didnt say I own any cod. I just don't have the money. On the other hand I do own Battlefield 3, wich i dont play because I dont enjoy it. Life sucks ,ey?

I'm going to be a terrible example at this but... if you don't like it why even bother to post about it ? You're either trolling or are a bit of an ass. I mean I don't really enjoy cod myself, and I've played it, but I get it, it's got that arcade feel, some people dig that. Don't just bash games for no reason. What a waste.

because it is marketed. same reason people buy selena gomez albums. stop having so much faith in humanity.

It's fun to play every now and again in my opinion. Although I kind of dislike the treyarch ones now and much prefer Infinity wards. The multiplayer just feels a lot better with them.

Why can't you just shut up and accept the fact that people can do whatever the hell they want. why do you even care, it doesn't affect you, it's not illegal or anything, and they like doing it. why are you doing this?:S

cOd is a good game...it may be repetetive, but that game model has been successful, and their gameplay shits on the majority of other FPS games...is it the best??? no....is it horrible??? hell no...its a lot further from horrible than it is from the best...
