Do you listen any of the "Pop goes punk" covers? Crown the Empire has a good version of Pay Phone. There's actually a lot of really good covers in the Pop goes punk series.

The only song that I didn't know (and have it in my pop-punk playlist) is Ohio, Come back to Texas. I already have few Bowling for Soup's songs on my playlist but hmm... haven't heard this one. Depends on what do you think pop-punk is. Imho it is not a real genre since most of it's artists could be easily classified as something else.

Pop punk is a genre that blends the loud, fast-paced and sometimes sloppy sound of Punk Rock with the catchy sound of Pop music
Easy to point out when you hear it, although it's used more has a subgenre.
Quite useful classification, otherwise this thread would be filled with random alt rock bands

It's not a genre that I've listened to much, but I still find this song damn catchy, and if you like The Middle, then you'll probably love this one, too! :)
On a game-related side note, I used to belong to an Unreal Tournament clan many years ago, and the guy who headed up the clan wanted to put some videos of our gameplay on his website, so at one point there was some footage of me getting an instagib M-M-M-MONSTER KILL killstreak to the chorus of this song. :P
