I'm so sad guys, because of my own stupidity I killed my keyboard. My weapon was this. I tried to resurrect it (opened it and broke my fingers) - but no sign of life. RIP keyboard Nov. 2015 - 2017.
shit happens and it's monday 😐
Maybe I could clean it with water and dry it for a few days but I dunno. I'm using my old one for now. 👀
Hope you have a better monday 🍀 h-8-6-V-N

EDIT:

Keyboards sometimes are tricky to put back correctly. I had to screw in mine real hard for all buttons to work again. Especially screws around cable.

edit
after watching this
you had one complicated keyboard :O
sadly i believe that makes it less resistant to fluids :(

my old one had layers of plastics, a sheet of some sort of conductive matter, and all the electronics below. it didn't die and got replaced just for being worn out as i'd just open it and clean it from water, coffee, milk and so on when something would drop on it. the only part that would be risky is cleaning the transistors but I just picked some cotton to absorb the liquids off them and never had an issue. instead of breaking your fingers, did you try to actually open it by removing the screws and all ? i'd say it depends of the model, but many people just trash their keyboard and buy a new one when everything can just be washed out with clean water. anyways you shouldn't need to force to the point of breaking your fingers

Just disassemble whole keyboard, clean it, wash plastic parts, leave it to dry well and put everything back (all parts ) as it was .Keyboard should work again .

I spilled Coke on my keyboard and I managed to save her.

You can also find many tutorials how to totaly disassemble whole keyboard, like this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmEV3run8MA

RIP your fingers. It's Logitech, I'd check with their support to see if they'd replace it, they have fantastic support and sometimes don't even require you to return your old gear when getting a replacement. I know it seems unlikely they'd replace it because it was your fault that it got damaged.. but I'd try contacting them anyway.

I offer my condolences on the death of your keyboard.
Coffee, especially with sugar, is widely known as the keyboard killer.

Is that a mechanical keyboard? They're in my experience usually relatively good at surviving liquid attacks (my poor keyboard has survived many cups of tea). Just remove all the key caps (use a knife or something to pry them off), wipe the thing with a moist towel, put your key caps in some water to clean them, then let everything dry. Hardly expert advice on the subject, just what I've done when I've spilled tea on my keyboard. My keyboard is a lot less fancy-looking though, and has less "stuff" going on, so I'm not sure if it will work as well for you as it did for me.

You could also just soak the keys into a bowl of water with some cleaning stuff and then let them dry.
Just make a photo of your keyboard before removing all of them, easier to put them back in...
Tea is just mostly water, coffee itself could also be easy to clean, but if she had milk and sugar, might be more difficult.

Usually best to unscrew the keyboard and clean the surface there too, very carefully. With what we call spiritus here.

yes it's a mechanical keyboard. a friend of me has cleaned his keyboard with water and dried it for some days and it survived, but his pc didn't run when it happened. I found it hard to disassemble the keyboard, so I have put the whole thing under the shower. it was very "sticky" because of the milk -_- now it's resting in the sun to dry. I'll try again to plug it in, in a few days.
shower with keyboard, lol. always new experiences

Let us know, if the shower-therapy did any good. I also killed a keyboard about a year ago or so - with tonic water ... which is probably worse than coffee. Fortunately, I managed to get the same model with a better layout (the other one had some weird RU/DE double layout with some critical characters like backslash missing) on ebay for less than €20. I still haven't decided what to do with the old one. As I said, the layout's pretty weird, but it's a good old mechanical Cherry keyboard (very important: Made in Germany) - I don't like those fancy LED "gaming" models at all. I also read, that putting it into a dishwasher and drying it for a few days can help with sticky fluids. Maybe I'll try that one day. It's a desperate measure, but hey, if everything else fails, it can't be any more broken anyway.

New experiences are sometimes the best kind. Wish I had some suggestions. I keep a Bluetooth keyboard for emergencies since I don't know which of my assorted devices will need assistance next. When you find a hardware combination that works, stick with it!

Depending on how sunny it is it might be better idea to put it in some shade.
Keyboards aren't made to withstand outdoor environment, and sun can be surprisingly dangerous when exposed to it for long hours.

Wash it in the shower, dry it with a hair dryer. Then de-moisturise it by burying it for 1-2 days in fresh kitty litter or white rice.
Unless the microcontroller is fucked, it should work again.

What Fnord said it could be doable to clean, atleast it wasn't sticky beer or soda, then you are worse off, i really killed a mouse and keyboard or two through that.

I know how you feel.

My previous keyboard was a G15 with a taste for beer. Did manage to clean it out and reassemble, and there were no sticky keys or anything left. But some of the liquid must've been able to get into the circuitry while it was still under power, as that had basically shorted out :/

It's replacement (also a G15) is still going strong many years later though :)

I recently split scotch over my relatively new Logitech G213. The keyboard is spill resistant so had no issues. More about this keyboard and the incident here.

Hope you manage to get it working.

My keyboard survived three spills, during the third one I found out that the brand stopped selling keyboards in this country and all other equivalent options would cost an arm and a leg, and I stopped drinking at my computer completely. I still eat here because eh it won't destroy it and I'm a slob anyway.

My keyboard survived already few 'attacks' of coffee spilled by unknown force and somehow it still works perfectly :D

Try to disassemble every part that can be and put everything on paper towel on a radiator or something like that for a night, if circuit board is fine it might work :)
