there is ~ 2,827 games on steam. & all valve staffs have the same number of games, idw how "yamaOG3" got 3,287 games, maybe there is games on the japans store BUT not on the other stores ?.

Its an every changing number. Games are constantly added and removed from steam. There is no "set" number.
