What kind of hair does you have??
When I was in secondary school, teachers always asked, "Did you curl your hair?"
HELL NO! Artificially curling hair isn't allowed in most schools in my city.

Yes. They also don't allow eating chewing gums in school.

I'm an older male, with a beard and long hair.. and you get the occasional person that asks you touch it, always found this very very odd as I don't like to be touched by or even in very close proximity to people I don't know. So if someone randomly just grabbed at me and petted me I would FREAK and pop them one.
Personal space, respect it!

My hair is naturally afro. And it grows fast - I can even shave it and 3 weeks later it's afro again.

Just like that! But more the colour of my avatar's hair.

Since people decided to use steamgift as a complaint center, lets also put my grain of salt :
wether your air are afro or straight or whatever, i have to remind people that "styling" their hair in a way that they block even more vision is a pain for all little preson should they be kids or grown ups ( never been bothered by that guy / girl in cinema / concert / any kind of representation that decided tu put her hair like its a building or a palm or other weird stuff ? then consider you are lucky because it happens way too many times.)

My hair is not that straight, but not that curly or wavy. I don't know what to vote, fuck my life.

I can symphasize with you. Try being pregnant and have strangers come up and lay their hands on your belly. Yuk!!!!!! Some people lack any common sense at all.

My hair is straight, but only because it's tied to the back of my head, really. :P
But the ends are very wavy, almost curly (but not quite). I picked wavy, but the correct description would probably be something along the lines of "rough, long, broken, and straight but not". I hate my hair.

i grew up around all types of hair, and i do know what you mean. i have very long straight hair and in high school and above girls would come up and just play with my hair and feel it, and being a shy horny boy i would let them, they would complain about how my hair was so much softer and manageable, rubbing their hair product filled paws thru my hair, practice hair styles on my hair... well at least it gave a shy boy an outlet to become not so shy and get girlfiends, hell long hair and letting her play with it is how i met my wife, but you know make the best out of situations.

plus with the straight hair and sensitive skin i would always get the dry scalp since my hair was fine, so the ones who didnt come up and play with my hair (i would also have ravers pet me like a animal) i would get those who tried to make fun of me for my dermitius issues.

Everyone always wants what they don't have. I want straight hair so I could do alternative hair styles.
Also, as for smelling your hair, wtf? People are crazy.

Unfriend those who touches your hair since they show no respect to you!

I hear you. Nevertheless, despite the terrible rudeness of some people wanting to touch your curles, it helps to simply bask the joy that quite a number of people are interested and want to interact with you. Of course, at a certain point, popularity is a curse.
And, the ignorance of the vast differences of African hair is not a crime. Our world is vast enough that there are too many aspects of it to be fully aware of all.

A battery, a transformer and exposed wires hidden in your hairs. After a few shocks they might learn.
I'm not responsible if you electrocute yourself in the process

I don't necessarily have a problem with peeps with straight hair, just needed a clickbait title. But, I'm tired of dealing with people who have no fucking clue about afro hair or how to act around people with it.
So many fuckers just come up to people with curly hair and rub their hands through it because it looks fluffy. I'm a fucking human being and you don't get to touch me just because you want to. Just because my hair is different doesn't mean I don't own it and you can do whatever you want with it. It's a shame the world is infested with people who don't understand that.
Almost as bad are the people who have no fucking clue about nappy hair and think we can just wash it and be done.
I got into a stupid fucking argument that putting stuff in hair isn't a part of basic hygiene, it's styling and is akin to make up.
Not every hair product is a styling product. I mean some of the stuff I use isn't even specifically for hair. But combing, and maintaining moisture is a part of hygine for black hair, or else it gets matted and you can't deal with that without a lot of breakage.
You can't just Afro hair wash it and be done. Hell, even with it properly done many will still consider it bad just 'cause it's nappy.
You don't have this so you don't know what it's like to deal with it, so don't fucking tell me that you know all about it, because the shit is part of my body, I know what I have to do to maintain it. I've had enough people in my life tell me how my hair will always be shit because it's nappy, and now I have to deal with people telling me how my hair works too?
