I don't think I've ever entered in a single day (not to even think in a single event day) for so many whitelisted games. That's quality and quantity of generosity and other words ending in Y, which is the coolest letter because it's the answer to its own question.

I get the need/desire to gatekeep good games from bad people, but god do I truly hate vague puzzles (no offense intended). Also that's not a riddle :p I want an actual riddle even if there's no reward, just as a consolation prize for not understanding this puzzle :D

There's no way there are 300+ entries with this kind of puzzle without someone having leaked it tbh. I've seen obscure puzzles like this before and they get around 25~50 entries, maybe 100, sad to say/see it. At least there's no chance to win anything, so I won't feel too bad not being able to solve this one.

Solved! (only the first part, I guess?) But I will say to people who don't get it, there are no AAA games given away (in what I could find), I entered none of them. I hope that gives some people some peace of mind at least :) Not to sound ungrateful, the games are still good, just not at the top of the community wishlist (in what I could find). I was mistaken, the two top wishlisted games are being given away

nah those are obviously great games, but there is somewhat of a clear boundary to fit into the AAA definition, and even though kcd2 is close it's not quite there yet
i dont know if the information is available to the public but i saw somewhere that their budget for this game was something around $20m, usually AAA starts at 50+ for today's standards

Unless there's another hidden part I couldn't find these games. These are the two top listed game according to what I can see (see image) on my browser (neither of these are being given away). At no point am I'm trying to be disrespectful or malicious, just trying to lower some of the expectations some might have, it's still super generous of course :)

The puzzle isn't there to gatekeep. It's there to be for part of the fun, like the pong, rock/paper/scissors, and other creative things the contributors implemented.
I understand that the nature of it is a bit harder than most of the other ways, but that wasn't the intention, it's more like a side effect.

Sorry, I can be a bit of a whiner when it comes to puzzles :D It's kinda my process to complain first. It was certainly a creative puzzle but also a bit annoying if I can be honest. Once you found the right one it was quite easy, but I also got stuck on the wrong one for a while :D

Ok I'm begging here for last one small no/yes hint because that wont give away the answer just maybe will save me from wasting time on wrong place, because multiple people said it was easy and I'm literary pulling my hair out at this point. Either I'm totally dumb or something or blind.
I'm at the 2nd step (searched stuff from riddle, found it, i know its right place because it makes perfect sense), I'm looking at the long code that was semi hidden, it's 47-52 characters depending how you look at it. Is the code it or am I completely wrong here and just wasted hours of my time trying to do something with it?

First 2 steps are covered by the puzzle, may need to reread the puzzle slower or copy/handwrite it on paper. Thats where you should be looking. Had to sleep on it myself and reread it as I was trying to chase imaginary red herrings also.
