I'm gonna need someone to do a play by play of this for me tomorrow because I haven't got the slightest idea what to do beyond that song reference, I don't know the puzzle format so I feel like I'm supposed to speak a language I've never seen before.
EDIT: Nevermind again, google somehow opened the wrong thing when I clicked on the right thing so I was looking in the wrong place this whole time. It opened the right thing now and there it was. It really was straightforward and we've been overthinking it.

Sounds like you might not be where you are suppose to be. Ignore the song itself and the lyrics. What else could you be reading somewhere where you can get a multisense experience of the song?

I'm not in a position to give clues, since i'm not sure whether that is sanctioned or not by the creator, but i will say. I think this puzzle is very dependent on knowledge of popular culture. I cannot imagine myself finding it, if i hadn't heard of it previously.
