Do you ever enter multiple giveaways for the same thing?

Of course. I think everybody does that.

Yeah, I use all 300 points in a single game if there are enough giveaways, making sure to cancel the remaining entries if I ever win.

But most of the time i'm more interested in if there is a sale somewhere for the games, so if i do not win, i still can
get it somewhere else for a cheaper price.

Like a humble bundle or a keyseller sale or something else.

There's nothing wrong with doing so, at least unless you don't accept multiple copies of the same game if you win more than 1.

I am desperately trying to win Saints Row 4 and Fallout 4 so I am entering every giveaway I can for the same. I guess everyone does that

nothing wrong there, it raises the chances to win a game i really want ofc. If i win, i remove the other giveaways i entered.

I'm apparently in the major minority here, but I try to only enter one running GA of a game at a time. If I lose, the other ones haven't ended yet so I can enter them after the current GA has ended.
