(Humble) Sega Halloween Bundle incoming? (update: not really)

Yesterday, while browsing SteamDB, I found a newly created entry called Sega Halloween Bundle (it was renamed to generic Steam Sub a few minutes after it was created), including:

  • Condemned: Criminal Origins
  • Hell Yeah!: Wrath of the Dead Rabbit + DLCs
  • Total War: SHOGUN 2 + Blood Pack DLC
  • SEGA Genesis & Mega Drive Classics, including:
    • Alien Storm
    • Altered Beast
    • Decap Attack
    • Golden Axe
    • Wonder Boy in Monster World

Now, because this entry has attribute Proof of Prepurchase Only, which is used for keys, it's almost sure it won't be a Steam store bundle. It might not be a Humble bundle (Sega does have sales on Amazon quite often), but considering Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed retail sub was updated a minute before this bundle was created, I believe we might see a Sega weekly sale soon with Sonic All-Stars as BTA.

EDIT: Well, it was a Sega Store bundle. Sorry for getting your hopes up.

I enjoyed condemned 2, so I'd like to play origins, too. Not that they're bad games, but I'd prob never bother playing the other three.

Golden Axe tends to not be as good as the game that people remember loving in their youth.

At least that has always been my experience when watching friends go back to play it.

The problem here is that you're dealing with the Mega Drive home conversion and not the arcade game. It's still decent fun, but it's inferior in terms of sound and visuals, which is sure to put some people off.

inb4 Sega Halloween Bundle gets marked as bundled here and the starting date is october 15.

I advice people to not giveaway those games mentioned above and rather trade it instead for $$$ or some other games before HIB bundle starts. Your just gonna get screwed with CV

Condemned is worth it, in my opinion. It's also the last decent game made by Monolith Productions (not to be confused with the brilliant Japanese RPG developer, Monolith Software), again in my opinion.

Exactly what I was thinking. I got an Amazon Sega bundle at the end of summer sale that reminds me a lot of this. Even had a couple of the same games.

Amazon did packaged keys for their XCom sale last week. It was a group key opposed to individual keys like before.

Well, if it does end up happening.. I will get it with no issues at all :P Goldan Axe,Altered Beast.. played those a TON when was a kid. Also,very much interested in Total War 2 + Hell Yeah! games. Played Condemned on console a long while back, decent game.

Would not be interested at all in Sonic All Stars though.
