How to check which friends own a specific game? [REMOVED FROM STEAM EDITION]

So I was just wondering if there's a way to check which of my friends own a game that's been removed from the Steam Store and thus no longer has a store page. Is there a website or some kind of hidden Steam feature for this sort of thing? Any help is appreciated.

Does that have a feature to check which friends have a specific game? Like on Steam where it tells you ### friends own this and ### wish for it.

You can go to:
/friendsthatplay/##### in your profile, i.e. http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198107146761/friendsthatplay/12840 for me and DiRT 2. But I'm not 100% certain about if it displays all or only people that have played it. It definitely shows people that still have it on their wishlist.
