deus ex and alien vs predator 2000.I mean that deus ex could be revolutionary for his age but now i have saw much better games than deus ex bioshock infinite not only in graphics but also is gameplay friendly i mean that you learn it immediately. Also alien vs predator 2000 i mean that alien vs predator 2010 was good game just it took some quality product reduction which is natural.

MOBAs (can get why they are so addictive, but not enjoyable at all for me)
Dead Island (shite and boring gameplay, stupid quests like bad korean mmorpg made offline)
Bioshock 1 (not really, but its aged horrible, its hard to play it, liked infinite)
Halo (it's alright but I don't understand sort of cult around it, it's just an average fps, one of the first decent console fps but thats all)

A majority of AAA games in the last five years. I am kind of bummed out that most video games have to be "franchises" now. If it isn't an MMO, MOBA, F2P/P2W or mobile game, it gets sequels upon sequels until, A. they break it, B. some other company breaks it, or C. The series slowly stagnates as the formula is barely built upon. I'm probably just a grumpy 80's baby.
EDIT: Wait... I guess I do know why.

Cod, Football games ( can't stand them as much as real football, it sucks footballs to me ), Dofus ( i get so much bored when i try to play this piece of shit xD ), ragnarok online ( same as Dofus x) ), World of Warcraft ( booooooooooooring ), racing games ( some as NFS entertains me for a few hours thanks to car customization ... but then i'm done with it xD ), DayZ ( i love zombies but this looks so wierd ... Arma as well, wtf's with the "go over something" animation you can trigger anytime you want o_O and i tested it back when it was a mod for Arma 2 and the gameplay was .... was ... wtf o.o )

Nah, I know why I don't like stuff that everyone likes. I just seem to adore games that aren't popular and find popular games to be shallow. What I don't get is why games like that get such widespread appeal for things that I see done so much better in other games that aren't as popular.
For example, I see the characters praised in Final Fantasy games, when honestly the vast majority of Final Fantasy characters are shallow and flat to me. The story gets praised when it's nothing special or different from every other game of their genre. I play a FF game and see so much wasted potential with some pretty CG graphics slapped on top of it.

i thought it was pretty cool since ive never seen a hacking game before mixed with a sandbox game.

I need to find a way to enjoy Fallout and Elder Scrolls, but I just can't. They are praised so much but it's like I get a headache or something when I play them, like as if they are moving too slow or there is too much micromanagement in combat. I enjoy in-depth leveling systems and combat systems in games, but I can't stand Fallout or ES for some reason, as my attention span goes away so much quicker. I wish I knew why so I could get a mod to maybe help.
Anyway, question for you all is: Are there any games you don't like (but everyone else seems to love them) but you have no explanation why?
(I know, very specific topic, but it just came to my mind)
