When looking at the achievement list after selecting your game any you've already unlocked will have the checkboxes ticked. Tick the boxes of the ones you want to unlock then click the store button which is in the top right corner (I think).

Be careful if you use AStats or similar achievement sites cause you will be flagged for cheating. It's the dev's job to fix them, not SAM's.

He meant that proper achievement-tracking sites know what achievmeents are broken - if you have the others, they still count as 100%. And on Steam itself it doesn't count anyways :)

But it's exactly on Steam that I want it to be 100%. :) That AStats does look interesting though. I might leave it the way it is and join there, with the hope that it will get fixed one day. :/

They have some automatic algoritm for finding cheaters and also guide for Stanley Parable, where it was stated that it's enough to change system date +5 years, open up game and wait for achievement to pop up.
And then they flagged this achievement as invalid and because of that half of this game achievements are marked as obtained by cheating xD
They even said to few people that they are aware of this situation, but they won't do anything with it right now, as they can't change algoritm to miss this one game. So they aren't infallible.

Well technically it is cheating, just of a different kind. Most single-player achievements can also be easily obtained by hacking the game and doing the challenges in godmode etc. I guess it's really hard to decide where to draw the line, but I can see why they could justify flagging that as cheating.

Well yeah, but the same goes for writing batch file to open x times Universal Sandbox, looking for this one ugly letter in video guide because you can't find it, using guides to get past this useless and annoying puzzle and so on.
You help yourself, because in other way you wouldn't be able to get certain achievement. And when Stanley Parable is a game about cheating, and thinking outside of box / doing exactly different things that you were told to do, I don't see why achievement that is clearly a joke from authors is punishing people who just follow game "rules".
Besides there are other achievements that were time-based and people were changing system clock to get them. And they aren't punished. Well apart from people who wanted to unlock achievements "backwards" like past christmas events or something.

Yeah, they were fine with it at first, but then after ½ - 1 year the owner of the site changed his mind and considered it cheating. Hence why all the Stanley Parable achievements are marked as invalid if you have the 5 year one.
I was told however they may look into it in the future to only mark a single achievement as invalid instead of all of them in this case. So well, we'll see.

I already screwed myself on that site since I unlocked TF2 achievements for the items you get cause at the time I wanted to be one of the "cool kids" and not have lame weapons.

You can open an appeal on their forum and re-lock the achievements if you want the message to be removed from your profile. I used sam to unlock a broken achievement before joining AStats and cleared it with the help of their staff.

Yeah, I was reading up on that.. it seems like a good idea but I have some actual achievements I achieved for the game too and sorting through it all seems like a pain.

Just let it be, since - as Quisty pointed out - you will get flagged / banned for cheating. Plus it counts as a 100% on Astats due to the broken achievements. So far so good, right? :)

Let me see... I made the thread on steam 1½ years ago.
Since they didn't reply there, I wrote him an email two weeks later linking the thread and an explanation. He answered a week later with that it would take time but they would look into it.
4 months later I wrote another email asking for the progress, and they wrote:
Hi Mille;
I am sorry we didn't find the problem; as you may know the game is released on many platforms (iphone, ipad, android devices, amazon devices, big fish platform, PC, Mac, Steam) and only the Steam version seems to show that behavior.We will be looking into it again in the next couple of weeks but chances are low for us to find it; as we have changed technology it shouldn't happen in our next games.

Well, to be honest I don't care about other sites. Yeah, AStats is nice and all, but I wanted it to show as 100% on my Steam profile, counting towards my perfect games and making my completion rate better. I won't use SAM for now, hopefully it gets fixed soon.

It's still cheating. EVEN THOUGH you got them legit (in-game), but they are not compatible with steam for some odd reason. I wouldn't use SAM if I were you.
And yes, I hope so as well. I just wrote another email to them. We'll see what they will reply with this time...

I don't see it as cheating. If I worked hard to get them legitimately, I earned them. But like I said, I'm not using SAM for now, I'll just wait a while to see if it gets resolved.
Oh thank you, I had played and stopped all the songs to get rid of the "New" tag, but I wasn't aware you had to listen to them for the achievement. I'm having a really hard time in the adventurer and expert modes of the door puzzle though. :P I'm going for extra completion and getting 100% accuracy in everything.

But you would still need to use a third party tool to get them so in my eyes it's at least cheating. But a bit less in this case since they do unlock in-game, just not on steam.

Achievements the worse thing ever created for Steam since they are so broken,and easy to cheat minus the broken ones,hell even Microsoft has a policy of them having to work.How hard is it for Gaben to do the same since they sell more games just by adding them and why so many are broken and forgot about they got your money why should they care.I know some will say they still count on other sites and so on but that is not the same.That is like saying you lost the race but we still think you are a winner,sure it helps but it surely does not make up for not winning.
Though i would suggest not using SAM for true broken ones as you could get community bans and such on Steam like Payday 2 will ban you for cheating in there game,though i wonder since this developer has done nothing to fix the broken ones in a long time that they would even care if you cheated them in Meliisa K.I found out they where busted and wanted to remove the game but i won it on here so i can not and deal with it.I am not a chevo addict just not having 100% showing for a game i did is annoying as hell.

That because you can not get banned unless you actually connect to a VAC server so even CS-GO would be safe as long as while you used it is not connected to a VAC server.
Now if the game auto connects to say a vac server once the game is started then i would say it would trigger a VAC,TF2 does not,i am not sure if any game auto connects to a vac server even while at the start menu so just keep that in mind for VAC games as it may auto connect once you start the game itself.

5 achievements in Melissa K. And The Heart Of Gold are broken - they unlock in-game, but not on Steam. So I want to use SAM to unlock them, but how do I unlock only those achievements? In the options I see "Unlock All", so I'm afraid to click it and unlock all the achievements. If I select only the 5 in the check boxes, will it unlock only those or all?
By the way, no, I'm not cheating. I got the achievements fair and square in-game.
