☼ ☀ Summer Games Done Quick ☀☼

Quick like a bundle! Games Done Quick is a charity video game marathon featuring high-level play by speedrunners -- gamers who play games as fast as possible! These talented individuals run events twice a year and take donations that are sent directly to charity. This summer, they’ll be streaming over 150 hours of non-stop gameplay live to benefit Doctors Without Borders!

100% goes to charity - All contributions to this bundle will support Doctors Without Borders

100% goes to charity. All of the games in this bundle were donated by the developers so that the proceeds can all go to support charity! Our featured charity, Doctors Without Borders -- or Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) -- is an international, independent medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural and man-made disasters, and exclusion from health care in nearly 70 countries. If you'd like, you can also choose a second charity of your choice via the PayPal Giving Fund! For details on how this works, click here. (NOTE: Doctors Without Borders does not endorse, condone, or control the content of the games.)

  • Contribute any amount to support charity.

Donate a minimum of $15 for:

VVVVVV, Dustforce DX, Guacamelee! Gold Edition, Super Meat Boy, Escape Goat 2, Serious Sam Double D XXL, Serious Sam: The Random Encounter, and Freedom Planet.

The bundle also includes a coupon for 10% off one month of Humble Monthly for new subscribers!

I did it, 15 dollars for charity. Split it between Doctors and ALS foundation. Games are just a bonus.

15$ is way too much for a Humble Bundle. I don't see why they couldn't separate the games in tiers like with a bunch of previous bundles. Still, i might donate to the charity, tho.

I know this bundle is about supporting charity and not about the bundled games in it, but still considering how crappy the humble monthly has become lately (BO 3 MP starter pack as EARLY UNLOCK?! seriously?) this bundle is like an insult to humble customers.
Oh and thank you Rachel for the chart.

what is the point of "100% goes to charity" when you can "choose where your money goes" and you can set it "100 % goes to charity" like other bundles...

The point is that 100% goes to charity this time?

You can put 100% to charity in other bundles, but that's not too smart if you want to keep having bundles.

You can directly pirate your games, you'll also save the money given to charity.

I get that it's for charity but I still feel like they should have tiers, because people like me can't afford to just spring $15 on donations sometimes, not to mention any game that seems worthwhile to me I already have, which would have been the only thing to push me to get it. I do hope they manage to make some good money for the cause, though!

I could have maybe talked myself into it had that been Serious Sam Complete Pack rather than 2 small pieces of it. Even tiers would have been ok. Easy to talk myself into spending $5 on randomness.

Funny enough, Serious Sam is not classified as being indie because it has a publisher. Those are the offshoot indie projects based on Serious Sam, this is probably the explanation. (Still, DD XXL is a pretty good side-scroller action game.)

Bundle-wise it would be a nice deal for 5$ or such. But as charity - if someone wants to help, it's a nice reward for it, but not much more

I wonder what the total sales for the previous humble games done quick bundles got.
Cause under 3,000 bundles sold seems SOOO little.

3,000 bundles @ 100% goes to charity
would mean a normal bundle would only need to sell
20,000 bundles @ the default 15% goes to charity

I'm absolutely sure if it was a tiered bundle, they would get WELL over 20,000 bundles sold, netting more $ for the charity in the long run.

Yeah, looking at the poor sales here, they probably do better charity earnings from a normal bundle. Live and learn, Humble.

There's a large hidden number here as well, people who were drawn to the stream and donated directly rather than by buying the bundle. I personally sent them some money through the direct donation link rather than through humble.

Average purchase: $12.86
Average Windows: $12.86
Average Mac: $14.29
Average Linux: $13.93

I really wonder how they managed to do this with a bundle set at 15 USD minimum.
