I played Runes of Magic ca. 1 year, but you need a big and friendly clan and you will have to spend much money for diamonds later. I don't know if the game is different now, I guess they keep increasing the level cap. It is a good game but it takes very long until your level is high enough to go into the good inis and somethimes you send hours to find some other players for a high level ini.

Star Trek: Online, Lord of the Rings: Online, DC Universe: Online & EverQuest II !!

I like Spiral Knights and Realm of the Mad God.
Realm of the Mad God has absolutely no benefits for paying. You get to look fancier, but that should be all.
And in Spiral Knights, paying grants you a huge advantage but no place is locked and no item unattainable even if you don't pay.

Actually there's nothing interesting, but i suggest you to keep an eye on Neverwinter Online and register to the beta, it looks pretty good.

I stopped playing MMO's once I realized I was giving up other things for it so I wouldn't recondite playing them but If you would like to play one I would recommend Aion.

Go for Aion, but US Aion! Aion EU has been taken over by Gameforge and turned into a ripoff!
