I feel that this type of puzzle only benefit the solver and their friends.
1 guy able to solve and tell all their friends the link to enter.
Not all that enter actually solve the puzzle

You are dead wrong here. If you actually solved the puzzle yourself and read the comments on the giveaway, you'd see different people discussing how they reached the solution in tons of different ways with different tools and methods.

lol are you kidding.
that can be easily faked.
How do you know they are not real life friends or steam friends that discuss how to do this?
We are talking about a AAA game.
People will do anything

While there could be some who would share the solution with their friends, I doubt it's any singnificant number of people. As of now there are already 153 comments in the giveaway discussing their methods for solving it, sharing screenshots, tools they used, etc., with each doing it via different methods. It would make no sense to fake that, because it would then mean doing the work to solve the puzzle multiple times if you tried to fake that. It would essentially be even more effort than solving it for the first time, because you would have to then learn many different approaches, that might not be as intuitive as your favored approach.
Besides, while TomasMacMordain's puzzles are some of the more tricky ones on this site, they never are so difficult that you couldn't do them if you put in the time. Even more so when the solutions are pretty much given away, like now. TomasMacMordain has given the answers in the comments, and all it takes is a little bit of time to put it together.
Plus what I love about his puzzles, is that you almost always learn something new. Either about some type of encryption or ciphers, or about audio, or specrogramms, or about sheet music, or calculus, or geometry, or cartography, or some type of meta files, or something else. I almost always learn something new in the process of doing these puzzles, and that is so much more enjoyable than say just doing a simple jigidi.
And in general, when you solve any of his puzzles, and read the comments there, you see the same kind of love and appreciation for learning new things (from most), and people sharing their road to solving the puzzles. Furthermore, there is also many people who solve it and don't enter for the game, as they just enjoy solving these puzzles so much. Even if someone sneaks in without solving the puzzles it's really not that significant, as you can see most people really enjoy the puzzles themselves there, and so would also be less likely to try to give away solution to others who don't want to put in the time to solve it themselves.

Bump
I don't always spend over 2 hours trying to solve a puzzle. But when I do, I still fail to solve the puzzle.
I spent most of my time on 3rd step with the number thing and unfortunately I ain't cut out for that. And honestly if I did somehow solve it in a parallel world, I would cry after not winning. Have a good day.
