What is your favourite open world game?

What is your top 5 favourite open world game? I've asked this in the past but I'm wondering what people think now.

For me:

1) Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

2) Saints Row The Third

3) Assassin's Creed Brotherhood/Assassin's Creed 3 (cannot decide which AC game is better >.<)

4) Batman Arkham City

5) Sleeping Dogs/Watch Dogs (cannot decide >,>)

+1 don´t played it either that much, cause it´s a bit stupid and gets boring, but the "open world" factor is amazing

skyrim and many others are the better games, but don´t have this feeling of open world when you just use your hook and parachute to travel around

San Andreas would probably be my favorite. Fallout 3/NV would be my next choices. So many hours spent just exploring around.

edit: Burnout Paradise was pretty fun as well. :-)

I still play GTA San Andreas Multiplayer via SAMP and MTA. One of the best games I've ever played. There are a lot of mods available. I don't think they can create a better GTA game than San Andreas.

open world games only ,no open space games :D ... But yea For me is KSP with his map on first place (with Rust and Skyrim :D And assassins creeds and Saints Row 3 ... and ... ;D)

My favourite (in co-op at least) is Mercenaries 2. The developers really understood that huge explosions and rag-doll physics are a great combination. If you haven't played it, check it out.

  4. Tomb Raider (2013) counts as such I think?

  5. Deus Ex Human Revolution probably doesn't count as Open World... so I'll go with Watch_Dogs for the fifth place.
