Some question about Steam and gifts.

Lets say I won Skyrim. It's region blocked here (Poland). Can I activate gift on my account? Will I be able to play game? Yes, I tried to google it but found no straight answer (some "maybe", "probably").

We got some dumb game distributor called Cenega. They want all money for themselves so they just blocked it from steam.

if you get a non-blocked version in a blocked area you shouldn't have an issue - it's just the other way round that causes issues

^ That. A Russian version won't work outside CIS countries, but non region locked version (IIRC EU version is that way) can work anywhere.

you could trade it for something else on steamtrades.com if you won something and it wouldn't activate because of the region your located in

If its a gift, which is in the steam-inventory of somebody and not a key it will work without problems :)
