for me no matter what VPN is... at final stage fanatical blockes my region via Steam profile.

I claimed the game key with VPN Gate. Fanatical website is cached, so sometime after enabling VPN or changing to another country, I need to refresh the site twice or more.
Also, third parties don't have access to your Steam region setting, so Fanatical can only block via your IP address, not via your Steam's region.

Fanatical looks at my country. And blocks the buying. Even it is free.

That why I said, "I claimed the game key with VPN Gate". Fanatical says the game not available in my country, when I try to add to cart without using VPN. Please use a country that isn't on their restrict list for VPN purpose.
