My CV Went up?

This normally happens when a game is contained in a package which currently got a deal on Steam. Daedalic stuff causes this every now and then

nope its not just you, my CV went up too, they change values of games sometimes, it also goes down too (that also happened to me)

possible reasons:
-the $ value of some game you have given away in the past increased in Steam Store
-some game's bundle status might have been reverted (or the start date when some game's bundle status is valid from has been changed)
-Steam store package deal "bug"

That can happen for similar reasons to why CV goes down (although you hear a lot less people complaining about it on the forum when it happens ;) ). The main culprit is that you've got a game that's part of some collection, where the collection is cheaper than the game itself due to a high discount, when this happens, the steam API will report the value of the collection rather than the individual game. Don't worry, it will go down again when the discount goes away ;) Other reasons might be that a game went up in price, or was removed form the bundle list (a rare occurrence, but it has happened), or a game was removed from sale on its own, but it's still part of some collection (at which point you get the full value of the collection)

Try using the search function to find the other times it's been answered.

It happens whenever a bundle price temporarily goes lower than the individual game price.
It happens a lot with Daedalic games.
