I think I got my playtime out of Terraria and Natural Selection 2, they are the only ones I bought full price.

The new Tomb Raider because I'm a sucker for fluid animation and good story. Bioshock Infinite because it was such a great deal (1 Excellent game + 3 good games? Yes please) and Football Manager 2013 because, well, I love football and its a great game.

And also The Last of Us, because I know it'll be a game worthy of its price.

Guild Wars 2. Portal 2. WoW.

I don't regret them at all. I got my money's worth with them. And eventhough WoW went to shit after TBC. It was still fun playing with friends.

I don't remember the last game I bought at full price. Even if it was just 10% off, I always got it at some kind of a discount.

All of the Ys games, Don't Starve, Folk Tale, Bioshock Infinite, I think these are all of them, well, I got Don't Starve because it was a 2-pack, actually I don't care much about it, dunno if it conts. Another game that I would pay the full price is Secrets of Grindea.

Borderlands 2. Totally worth it. (I actually got a preordered 4 pack to split so it really only cost $50)

In terms of recent ones I do not regret buying Borderlands 2, XCOM, Dishonored, or Awesomenauts. Some I do regret are Bioshock Infinite, Guild Wars 2, Skyrim, and Far Cry 3.

Nothing... I don't think I've bought a full priced game since I was a child, and that was really only some of the pokemon games when they came out. On console I used to just wait for used, and now on PC, you can usually guarantee that just about every single game is in fact going to be on sale at some point. I was patient with Skyrim, and I was able to get it for roughly $5-6 in the GamersGate Bethesda bundle.

From time to time, I do buy newer steam games, usually from sites like GMG, so they are still on sale. To list them, I bought:

Borderlands 2 + Season Pass $45
Sleeping Dogs $34
Bioshock Infinite $45, which also included Mafia 2, XCOM, and a copy of Bioshock 1 for trade fodder. If you count those 3 as roughly 17.50, its under $30 for a pre-order of Infinite.

And that's it... Those are the only games I bought even anywhere close to full price, and they were still nearly 40-50% off.

I regret buying Sleeping Dogs at that price. Don't get confused though, I got ~25 hours out of the game, and I had a blast playing it. I only regret it because it didn't take long for it to drop significantly in price. Recently the lowest I've seen it was between $7-10, and I think around $12 with all of the DLC. Definitely don't quote me on that, that's just what I think I remember seeing.

I think these were all full price...

Minecraft

C&C Yuri's Revenge - (13 years ago now? Still play it)

007 Nightfire for console - the 1 multiplayer map that wasn't pitch black was super fun.

Dungeon Defenders

Aside from Indie games/games that are released at a bargain bin price, I think probably the most recent example of a game I paid full price for was Mass Effect 3. It's rare nowadays that I'd be so interested in a game that I feel compelled to buy it when it comes out.

Usually I'll wait until it's on sale.

Tomb Raider. My first full priced game was also my first preorder. I loved the cinematic feel Crystal Dynamics took with the game. They were able to evoke many emotions.
