Is Homefront worth buying?

It's a mediocre game overall. I still enjoyed it though :) Had somewhat of a story hidden behind terrible characters, with a climatic ending!

The multiplayer is surprisingly good too!

The story is short for singleplayer. That being said, I love the storyline. It's written by the same author as Apocalypse Now and Red Dawn. It is a stable game for me. There are still players. There are a few hackers but you can just move to another server. I enjoy the vehicle combat and it works quite well. There is a lot of replayability in Singleplayer and leveling up and unlocking things in multiplayer takes a steady pace.

All my friends who bought it told me not to get it. The trailer looked pretty awesome so I bought it during the sale. The graphics were so bad that I deleted the game after 10 minutes of play.

I really enjoyed the multiplayer. You can drive a bunch of cool vehicles and the maps are different than your average COD. I'd it's worth getting.

Multiplayer was very good and fun, but can't say same from campaign.

So the MP is fun? I thought it is really bad with everyone using that overpowered shotgun from the DLC.

played that multiplayer only demo and loved it but i kept "delaying" this buy and the game will be probably dead soon(maybe not who knows)

Well i loved the single player campain, i didn't played as much multiplayer but well, it was fun.

I don't know why so many people hate Homefront, gonna play the game again soon :D

Buy it if you like what you saw from the videos/pics from steam or other fonts.

I had so much fun playing this at my cousins on the PS3, really awesome multiplayer. :)

they were originally going to make it very mature and intelligent, a tactical shooter with great importance on character development and plot but then the publisher stepped in and wanted the CALL OF DOODY AUDIEENCE!!1!11! XD

Do you enjoy watching people kick down doors and obstacles? Do you prefer having mediocre voice actors bark orders at you? Do you like pressing a button to hide in a mass grave? If so, then Homefront is your kind of game!

in terms of singleplayer no, in terms of multiplayer well its better than cod at least lol

Only spent a couple of dollars on this, but despite all the negative reviews, I really enjoyed the single player campaign.

Sure, the storyline has all the realism of an episode of The Mighty Boosh, but it's a few hours of good, brainless fun.

Its worth buying only if it is for sale.
