An online co-op/pvp hybrid, relaxing, family-friendly dating sim anime survival game?
At the very least, clear points for originality.. though the execution seems like something that'd either have to be amazing, or it'd automatically end up being awful, with no chance at being anything in-between. :P

Ever since Valve announced their "All content is okay!" policy stance, Steam Queue has been flooded with content that is not only based around poorly made, sexualized anime art, but that outright has "hentai" in the content's title. That said, Sekiro does have a prosthetic arm- so if he starts talking to it in the game, you've still got "hentai waifu" potential. Alternatively, Sekiro themself is the "hentai waifu", and the entire game is about finding a suitable husbando. I mean, you saw the game tags- that obviously must be what's happening.

I recall 'Snatch' being somewhat more entertaining a romp, but it's been a looong while since I watched either Ritchie film. ^.^
Speaking of which, I have no idea what to expect from Ritchie doing the upcoming live-action Disney's Aladdin remake; All the more so, given how Ritchie's films tend to fluctuate widely in hitting in their mark. I'm just as uncertain about the outcome of Will Smith handling Genie, though that's more based in the fact that Robin Williams' shoes are hard to fill for anyone, and Will Smith (even though he's a solid all-around actor) just doesn't have the same kind of comedic handling.
Really, it's a film that could end up being amazing... or amazingly bad. All the more so given how live action Disney films have a trend of failing to match the charm of their animated counterparts. Bleh, still over half a year until we can find out which it'll be. :(
But yeah, back on topic- I think I'd play just about any style of game if it had wacky hijinks of that sort carrying its plot. :P

As long as Smith doesn't pull some sort of After Earth-Kazaam, he should be fine, I believe ;>. But yeah, it's hard to compete with the animated version, especially when you're trying to impress and convince the generations that grew up with the original Disney movies of that era. Ritchie doing Aladdin is still a weird choice IMO and, as you said, I guess it will either be amazing or amazingly bad, I can't imagine anything between with that combo.

I can't believe you brought up Kazaam. Shame on you. :P
Now I'm truly concerned as to what the film could turn into.. >.>
But yeah, that was what I was getting at- Will Smith and Ritchie are both talented, and for a more general concept of Aladdin, not too off an association; However, applying them to Disney's version of Aladdin makes you wonder just how close they'll stick to the concepts of the original film, especially since neither seems particularly well matched with the original style.
Given the challenge of appealing both to nostalgia and to fond memories of the deceased Robin Williams, it's going to be an uphill battle to begin with. Still, the potential for something amazing is there..
Then, there's the live-action Lion King (which seems inherently awkward to pull off) coming after that, and then the live-action Mulan the following year. Lots of room for both potential glee and potential heartbreak, across those three films. :P

I call shenanigans. It's missing the Psychological Horror tag, irrefutable evidence that the title in question is not, in fact, actually casual, cute nor relaxing!!
That's Steam logic for you. Thanks, Gaben.

If you go to the bottom of the tags list, it has "Nudity", "Walking Simulator", and "Comedy".
Added on to the tags I listed above, it makes me wonder just what exactly the content of the game involves. :P
I'm just imagining this guy wearing nothing but a spiked helmet (and pixelation- this is a family-friendly game, after all), wandering around bumping into anime hijink situations and somehow finding true love out of it all. (Pro-Tip: Bumping into the same cactus 8 times in a row gets you massive relationship points with Misaka.)

Wow, I didn't know that this game is coming to PC. Thought it's going to be a PS exclusive. Nice surprise for me! :)

Off the top of my head, Soul Calibur VI's preorder hit Steam a bit ago as well. :)
Rather, it's actually vaguely annoying that Sony is still retaining so many tasty exclusives [despite so many adventure and fighting games being released on PC close to their console releases, and so many JRPGs making their way to PC, etc]. :P
By this point, I'd be content to just get everything on PC, and not have any consoles outside of Nintendo ones.
Prices for games are so much better on PC these days, as well.

Nope. I understand how you could get them confused, but I DID think that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is going to be another PS exclusive just like Bloodborne.
Also, I know that Ghost of Tsushima IS an exclusive, even though I would really gladly play it on PC :<
Comment has been collapsed.
Weird that you thought it was a PS exclusive when it was announced on the xbox one conference at E3.
I mean I can kinda understand, Bloodborne was an exclusive, but Bloodborne was co-produced with Japan Studio which is owned by sony so that explains that.

I love From Software, but I haven't really played their Souls series much at all.
They have a lot of underrated titles like ChromeHounds and Enchanted Arms that I wish were ported to PC. :(
This title looks pretty cool!

I wish more of Quantic Dream's games outside of just Fahrenheit/Indigio Prophecy would get ports (that is to say, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and the recently released Detroit: Become Human). Naughty Dog porting over Uncharted and Last of Us is also up there.

I can recommend PSNow for this. I played through Heavy Rain and Beyond on PSNow. You can even get the first 7 days for free. So if you hurry up, it doesn't even cost you (although I must say I paid for several months and it was totally worth it).

I like how the community tagged the game even before its out.
Really thought it was a dating sim at first lol.

He's using it to advertise his group, I believe, hence the phrasing of the message. Nevertheless, he still seems a rather.. dubious sort of person, considering both his and his group's output. At a glance, it appears that every aspect of it, from the group, to profile comments, to the official webpage, is filled with a consistent flood of stereotypically illogical, elitist, and negative-minded GamerBro content. Eg, stuff along the lines of "Git gud, n00bs. It's your fault you took offense to what we said, lolol. Everything you like is shit, because only what we say is good is good, and we only like a very narrow range of popular things."
In sum, I think there's plenty of reasons to add them to your ignore list, outside of just their misuse of the curator system (which, frankly, how many individuals on Steam actually properly use it to begin with?)
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, that one just made my list. I can't see one of the other two or even tell who it is because they were already on my list and there doesn't seem to be a simple way to manage your list - I think you have to actively seek them out and uncheck the Ignore box on their page, which is quite difficult without being able to unhide a review to find out their name.

culture.vg is a very tasteless joke, as I noted in response to talgaby, but Stygian Abyss doesn't seem especially offensive. At the very least, their blurbs at least relate to the games in question (which is more than can be said for many Steam curators) :P
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, the Stygian Abyss blurb is well written and looks like it might be appropriate, but I'm not convinced that they possess the extraordinary perceptive powers necessary to usefully review a game before playing it. I mean, they can be accurate to the extent of faithfully regurgitating the promotional material, but that doesn't really make for a helpful review, which is what I look for in a curator.
Update - I see that the review is no longer there, so I guess they realised that early reviews aren't as impressive when they are so early that they predate the game. Hopefully, they won't jump the gun or take shortcuts like that anymore.

to usefully review a game before playing it
The curation blurb was posted today, which is also the day that Sekiro was supposed to offer playable content at Gamescom 2018.
There's still a reasonable chance that the review was based off actual experience with gameplay.
The blurb is still viewable through the curator's page, not sure why it's not showing up on the game's page anymore.

Secretly, Sekiro is the newest entry in the popular Nekopara game series.
Raising and then having inappropriate relations with your enslaved, underage ninja catgirls has never been easier!
...eyyyh. Well, at least the art isn't done by Itaru Hinoue (artist for Clannad), am I right?

I liked it when Steam tags were new and wild and lawless and everything was 'high impact sexual violence'...

everything was 'high impact sexual violence'
Applying that sort of filter to things definitely puts a new and somewhat disturbing spin on popular Steam games like Dark Souls, Rocket League, etc. >.>
..meanwhile, there'll always be Genital Jousting to continue carrying on with those tags. :P
And I guess there's always the Grand Theft Auto games, at that.

User tags are so worthless most of the time. I've seen sooooo many mis-tagged games on Steam, but sadly while it's easy to add tags I don't think there's a way to remove incorrect ones (unless you're the developer?)

I don't think there's a way to remove incorrect ones (unless you're the developer?)
You can freely mark tags as being incorrect or inappropriate (pull up the extended view for the tags, and then hit the flag icon to the right of any given tag), and I've seen that repeatedly lead to removed tags on games. Conversely, I don't think developers actually can interact with user-defined tags, only with the developer tags further down on store pages (though I'm not personally familiar with the developer side of things, so I may be mistaken).
I've noticed that tags tend to be off early on as a rule (co-op is a commonly misapplied tag). Unfortunately, a lot of tags never get fully removed, just sinking down far enough on the tag list that users no longer notice them, leading to further aggravation of Steam's already nonsensical recommendations system.
Of course, given the average Steam review, it shouldn't be any surprise that tags are trolled by users as well. :/
At least this particular arrangement was somewhat amusing. :P

I'm not finding the new format for developer pages to be very user-friendly or reliable at all, in general.
That said, all the FromSoftware and FromSoftware, Inc links from the various Dark Souls games are taking me to the same Bandai Namco developer and publisher pages, both of which share identical content listings. All the FromSoftware links from Activision-published content are instead taking me to the FromSoftware developer page (presumably meaning that FromSoftware is having to take a more active role in the publishing of those games than for the ones published by BandaiNamco).

Thanks for the reminder to get around to playing my copy of Fortix 2. Imma go do that now. ^.^
At a glance, it looks like Fortix hasn't had any kind of sale in about 5 years now. o.O
99 cents isn't a lot, but I'm not entirely sure I want to pay full price for a low-interest (to the community) game just for its meme appeal. :P

Well, I just discovered these gems today, and for lack of a better place to post/share/keep them, I'm going to dump them here. Because I can and I will! You can't stop me! Unless you ask me to, in which case.... I, err.... will -.-
