blacklists affect both giver and taker, so blacklisting me (and telling me about it) instead of asking why I blacklisted you is basically the same as saying I'm a jerk. I could have unblacklisted you, and then you could have entered, but now you have to wait 5 days for the cooldown period, and thereby being the bigger fool rather than being rational. Sorry about that, better luck next time.

yeah, I don't know much Japanese myself. The hardest part is memorising the basic characters, (and then memorising the advanced characters). Also the sentence structure is set up strange, especially to people who are used to the English/Germanic sentence structure - imagine talking like Yoda all the time, that's the closest comparison I can make.
I recommend getting a mobile app for your phone - I tried Duolingo, which gives you a solid base for learning the basic characters, and some phrases and recognising basic written dialogue, and listening to some stuff , but not for teaching you to speak it (unless you memorise enough phrases). Once you find that it's not enough, then you'll need to start paying for something - Genki series or Rosetta Stone. That's where I stopped, but I'd still like to get serious about it one day too.
