Get invites all the time, but dont look at any with at least 2+ friends in the groups unless it is a useless group then im all ears

Yeah, I get those too. I must decline at least one group invite every other week because I have no idea why I'm being invited and half the time it's a Russian group and I don't even know what it's about.

Lol what a coincidence (not really) I got spam invited to the same group today as well. I was also curious since I started getting invites to these Russian groups at least once a day. The trend with these guys is always the same. It's an invite from an alt account, which they haven't logged onto for weeks or months. They spam invite through a web browser, kind of like how you can view people's accounts through SG and invite them to group without being logged onto Steam.

I usually report a violation through their profile for mass inviting, though I know it doesn't really do much unless they get reported by others as well. I then block them since I figure they'll eventually run out of alt accounts sooner or later and probably can't be arsed into creating more. The more curious thing is why they do these mass invites. Does someone pat them on their back or give them something if they get x amounts of new members? That's the part I'd like to find out.

I've even been invited to that group you posted. There are some very sad people out there spamming invites and hoping to build followers consisting of random strangers. You can count me out.

I really wish I could easily block whoever sends the invites. I can't be bothered to go to their profile and do it lol.

I have had similar problems for last 2 weeks. been invited to atleast 5 random russian groups which i wasnt even remotely related to.

Its always russian cunter strike kids with large titty girls in their avatars.
