Best stealth games for PC?

Hi. I'm looking for some good stealth games on PC that I can play while on vacation. Which stealth games are your favorite, and give it a rating out of 10.

well, Othergames are a little out of date, not that this has to do with the graphics but In my opinion gameplay wise

I find both Thief 1 & 2 to work better than Thief 3, from a gameplay point of view. Thief 3 has to make some rather jarring compromises due to it also being supposed to work on consoles. That is for an example why the levels are split up the way they are (the consoles of the time did not have enough internal memory). So in many ways Thief 3 feels like the more outdated one.

Metal gear solid two was an incredibly buggy port where they didn't even took the time to change the game dialog game to reflect the fact that you're not using an xbox controller anymore.

I was only able to finish it recently after I bought the ps2 version on a flea market for €0.50

It still is an amazing game by the way.

I didn't really like Dishonored. The game was basically over when you got the Blink ability.

Didn't say it was good stealth, I agree, but Metro isn't mainly a stealth game, only a few parts of it are stealthable. I would say Crysis 2-3 Had good stealth in it.

I was just letting you know that Last Light and 2033 are very different in that regard :P Most of Last Light can be done using stealth. There are various stealth mechanics, enough to make it a core part of the game if the player chooses so. I haven't played Crysis 3, but Crysis 2 could be rushed through using the invisibility. I didn't enjoy it because of how quickly you could get through the levels without even considering the enemies :(

Deus Ex HR, Mark of the Ninja, Dishonored, Hitman (could count as stealth), Splinter Cells (conviction can also be played stealth but is a bit action based).
Alpha Protocol too perhaps? And metro?

^this. Literally the first thing I thought before opening the thread.

Hitman Absolution and Dishonoured are other good choices.

Also the new [Thief](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thief_(video_game) game when it comes out will be pretty much 100% stealth.

I'd go for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Mark of the Ninja, and Stealth Bastard. They all will be pretty cheap during the summer sale too.

Dishonored has a lot of replay-ability due to the fact there are so many ways to complete missions, Stealth, Kill everyone, Knock people out, Unseen, Multiple routes etc althought it's pretty much easy when you get Blink and Slow time.

Deadlight (9/10). Don't see that mentioned but Mark of the Ninja (9.5/10) more stealthy.
Love Deus Ex Human Revolution but found it so broken have to give (2/10).
Chronicles of Riddick (10/10) but not the expansions.
Sniper Elite v2 haven't played yet.

Penumbra series &/or Amnesia Dark Descent all (11/10)

Might need better definition of Stealth because in a way games like Assasins Creed, velvet assasin, Commandos ect have stealth.
