Afaik you can check the packages and see the region lock on the information page on steamdb: https://steamdb.info/sub/211537/info/. Getting Dying Light gifted from e.g. Austria to Germany is possible (I got the game this way) and getting it via key should also work (a german friend bought it on fanatical).

Thank you very much, your link helped me how I can find out this information about the packages for other games as well.
I already suspected that there was some way of finding out this information in the SteamDB. I just couldn't see the way.

This weekend the game Dying Light is free to play.
However, Steam indicates to me that this game is not available in my country.
However, I can install it via STEAMDB (Dying Light), how can I find out in which countries a game is not available, because if necessary I could get a key from another European country.
Has anyone had any experience with whether something like this works.
