About Ghoulboy - here is info from dev (https://steamcommunity.com/app/752500/discussions/0/1781640738624917537/) in short send mail with purchase confirmation
I got two Ghoulboy keys revoked. 1 was replaced pretty fast, the other is still not (tried Feb. 13th).
However it seems the developer is replacing agan. Maybe my mail got lost somewhere?
Edit: Did write a new mail - and got a replacement key.
edit: Lilly, why not adding also a template for your table, so we can contribute (and maybe helping you a little?) +more <3
Thanks for the suggestion!
Here's the template:
Game | Bundles affected | What can you do? | Related threads & comments | Revocation Date | Notes
:- | :- | :- | :- | :- | :-
GAME_NAME | BUNDLE_LIST | DEV_EMAIL | THREADS_LIST | REVOCATION_DATE | ANY_OTHER_INFO
Edit: I will also need to know if it's "completely revoked" or "the unused keys have been invalidated".
Really useful thread, sensualshakti. Especially if count how often it takes place recently...
This is actually not a bad idea for a topic. Should really be pinned so we all know what's going on. But you know that people will still make multiple topics on it anyway.

people will still make multiple topics on it anyway
but now we have something to link, simply shooting a comment, like:
"hey, could you please contribute here --> https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/Dgscb/ <-- ?"
I have not yet? been affected by any of those revocations, but I think adding the date of revocation would be a useful addition to your table.
Also I'd like to see which specific site was involved in the revoking, I myself don't know that "Build a bundle" is Groupees as the operator e.g.
Good idea! I added a date column, but for the keys that are invalidated i will probably leave it empty (or list an approximate date, when the first report occured).
This isn't exactly recent but it happened a couple months ago.
Electro Stalin Entertainment revoked all keys from Otakumaker for the games Typical Nightmare, Not my Day and Outside.
Lugum created a thread about it which also has a fix.

If you put ``` above and below your post then sensualshakti can easily copy it and add it to the main table.
Thanks, missed it :)
Awesome, many thanks!
Of course, it's mainly IndieGala.
Didn't know it was this bad until I saw the chart. I haven't bought an IndieGala bundle in ages, not even a GroupBuy. How they're somehow still alive is kind of a mystery to me.
Actually, it's mostly Otaku (and GogoBundle, which is the same thing). Indiegala doesn't have that much revoked, and it doesn't appear that those issues are anything like Otaku, which just simply stopped playing devs for games in the last bundles they supplied. I lost about 30 keys in that mess. B@stards.
Yeah, around 17 from Indiegala and 30 from Otaku + GoGoBundle. Didn't know those two were connected. If they weren't, then the numbers would point at Indiegala again though. Not to mention all the accounts getting just revoked for "inactivity", which is basically hundreds of keys lost there too.
But it definitely shows how the lower end bundle sites are the ones to have those controversies. Another reason not to support them.
Indiegala is usually pretty solid. I've had to reach out to their support on more than one occasion. While they were kind of slow, they fixed my issues (including issuing new keys) in all cases except for one (and that was a dev who supplied some already-used keys...some worked, some didn't, and indiegala ran out of valid replacements...nothing they could do at that point, and I had to try to contact the dev, who was shady and did nothing). I've found that most of the issues with keys that came through IG were because of the dev shop, not IG itself. Still, because they're dealing with a lot smaller shops on average, your chances of having an issue are higher. But at least they've always paid the devs that they deal with. :)
interesting, I activated many of those games from those indiegala bundles and the only one ever got revoked from me what I got from IG was Urban War Defense.
Thanks, Lilly. You've gone above and beyond once again. :)
you're the best!!
thank you so much, we have been all having lots of problems not only for gogo/otakubundles but also for keys coming from other sites, mass revoked by the developers and so on.. it happened also with fanatical or indiegala if I remember well..
so such a thread is extremely useful to all of us who do many giveaways and also activate lots of games and all of a sudden we see a game revoked without any reason.. thanks a lot again for all your awesome work!
January 27th, 2019
Developer deleted the unused keys of Inexistence
Added, thank you!
Death Penalty: Beginning, here's the discussion about it:
Thank you, Lilly. Great addition to the forums!
Replacement keys for No70: Eye of Basir have been added to your Groupees account, at least it is in mine now!
Many thanks for this thread. Really useful so people can be kept updated especially if they have bought lots of otaku bundles. Great work and keep it up Shakti :-)

Thank you! 🌞
I contacted the dev over a bad key for Through Abadoned from the Fanatical Vigilante bundle (from BundleStars, at the time). He replaced the key promptly, and said that he had not bulk-revoked keys at any time. He checked the key I was not able to use and told me that it had been activated in April of 2018. Of course he might have just not been telling the truth, but ultimately I was uncertain what was going on.
You always get the revoke message from Steam when this happens, right? You know, that alert message saying one of your games has been revoked etc. So far i got this only for alphas/betas that ended and the devs cancelled the keys. Hope it stays that way.
Just a suggestion: Can you add the name of the website to the "bundles affected" column ? Like "Groupees Build a Bundle #666" instead of "Build a Bundle #666" It would make it easier to search e.g. for all groupees bundle (or indiegala).
A "website" column would be best, but I understand that it's impossible, with Ghoulboy revoked in three different bundles.
Yep, I will do that.
If one game has been revoked from multiple bundles, would it be better to have one row for each bundle (without repeating the whole info, but only the game name and the bundle? Or would it be more confusing this way?
That's a good question, I would settle for the second one, possible with "see above" on the "Notes" column (or What can you do)
While the second option is better if you want to know which games from a bundle have been revoked, I clearly prefer the first option which is more compact and don't have multiple entries for the same game.
First option is way more clear.
First option is better, keeps the table more compact while still have all the info
also: for "What can you do" column you may should add a link to a comment instead of multiple lines of text, so to not have a veeery taaaall table? like, keeping it "compact" should be easy to read, imo (thanks again, and again)
The links to dev comments / other threads open on the same topic or any other info that I could find is listed in the "Related threads & comments"
I don't like the length of the column either, but that's also because you can't set a custom width to a column, therefore all of them have the same width. As a consequence, the more columns you have, the narrower they become.
When I started the thread, I had no idea that there were so many games revoked. I was expecting 10-20 maybe, therefore I added the "Revocation type" column. Considering how many rows that table will have in the end, I think it's better to split it into 2 charts: one for games that are revoked from your library, the other one for games whose unused keys were disabled. This way, we eliminate redundant info and gain some more space for the columns :)
We'll see how it goes from there and what other adjustments we can make.
the more columns you have, the narrower they become
the more columns you have, the narrower they become
true that, forgot it.
clever idea, splitting it in two charts. now it's on all of us helping you helping us, like -again- following a template for contributions :D
(pretty sure this page will be also used outside SG. the whoooole Internet is kissing you!)
Thank you for you work on this!
The fact that a list had to be made to keep track of revoked keys from developers is appalling.
Indeed, Steam really has to end this.
Useful info Thanks
Wow, seeing all of them in a single place makes you realise how much there is. I guess it's becoming a thing now...
i am not affected by these (yet). Yet! Because the only bundle I've bought from Otaku was the HeroCraft Bundle. I still have the keys from that bundle but the furor of recent revocation. I've not given them out. Thank you very much for your effort and thoughts of the community for this thread its very useful indeed!. Cheers, Cruse~
